Aren’t indian fans known to vandalise/burn cricketers homes? Surely the Chinese aren’t that bad
I mean you'll always get some nutters acting out in a country that isn't a police with 1.5b people. Hell, Canucks fans burn their city on the reg after wins.

But I've always found Indian fans pretty positive, a bit goofy at times and supportive of their heroes even when they have slumps.

But China is brutal. Athletes don't win, feel forced or are forced to make apologies and then get absolutely roasted with death threats and abuse. No thank you.

What are the odds that the BCCICC reschedules the WTC final to be further after the IPL so India can prepare properly if they qualify again?
0%

But the odds that the BCCI convince the ICC to scrap the WTC altogether to give more space to the IPL would be high 90s

I can understand why India batted first was due to the overcast conditions plus the green pitch that had R.Sharma licking his lips. However India did not expect the conditions to improve as a result once the sun came out and baked the pitch, it became easier to bat on. If India knew that this would happen then they would've made a ballsy decision to bat first and back the top three to see off the new ball and once it gotten better then they would've capitalized unless our bowlers bowl well.

Ishant Sharma not being in the frame for selection for some reason (maybe retirement from tests?) and Bumrah's injury are massive losses for India. The two aforementioned players would've spearheaded the Indian attack with Shami and Siraj as the backups. As a result, there would've been more pressure put on our batsmen once Bumrah and Ishant have a rest. The bowling team that bowled England out in two sessions was probably the best Indian bowling line up for SENA countries that I've seen with four pacers with Jadeja as the only spinner.

Umesh lacks the control that Bumrah and Ishant have and Shardul lacks the penetration which makes him easier to play. As a result once Shami and Siraj need a rest, pressure was relieved once they came on and our batsmen gained confidence even when Shami and Siraj came back on.

I love the analysis- first complaining that not enough balls hitting the stumps, then wondering why not enough short balls.
One things for sure, India aren't as potent without their pitches!
Looks like I found the fella to blame for this mornings debacle

A lot of upside yet to this XI.

We're getting runs from uncertainties like Warner and Carey, and there's plenty of RFI from Khawaja, Labuschagne, Green.

Smith is still an English God, Head is a transformative weapon.

A lot to like about this team. Win the WTC and the Ashes and in my opinion we're talking about a Great Australian Team.

That’s good vision on why Boland is so tough. Lands the ball near the same spot every time but after a bunch of them come through at fourth or fifth stump, that one comes back in to rattle the top of middle and off. Very skillful bowling.
