Thought Moeen bowled well yesterday personally. Should have had Green early and kept tossing it up even when we looked to take him downtown.
He's a sound selection for their BazBall approach to the game.
LolIt's called positive cricket. Simple as that. If you crew want to polish each others knob over a few minor details, so be it.
Test cricket has always had individual players that counter-attack an innings, and also had plenty of teams that target a particular session or block of a days play to set up a declaration etc..It's called positive cricket. Minor details apparently.......Test cricket has always had individual players that counter-attack an innings, and also had plenty of teams that target a particular session or block of a days play to set up a declaration etc..
But this is a consistent effort of a team to go at 4-5 runs an over from Day 1. Look at how they played in NZ recently and tell me that its not a new concept.

I reckon we'll be chasing 300+ in 4 sessions.
Very hard to chase, very hard to chase

Anything around 300 would be generous, despite a wearing wicket. I don't rate this attack all that highly, particularly if the clouds stay away.Part ofBazballpositive cricket has been that Stokes has set very sporting targets so it'll be interesting to see if that holds.

Trouble is, of course, is Warner vs Broad leaving us 1 down inside half an hour.
Media love buzz words. The gullible love them too.I prefer Bazzball
I'd agree with that.Part ofBazballpositive cricket has been that Stokes has set very sporting targets so it'll be interesting to see if that holds.
What question ? A slightly higher run average ? Australia done it in the Hayden / Gilly etc etc era. The Poms, have extrapolated on that. Good for them.Lol
"Minor details".
How about answering the question.
The West Indies didn't do that ? Really ?Test cricket has always had individual players that counter-attack an innings, and also had plenty of teams that target a particular session or block of a days play to set up a declaration etc..

how the * does KP get a gig commentating?
I'd rather listen to Slats skyping in from jail or wherever he is now.
