Do Cricket Australia need to look at establishing agreements with other cricket boards to guarantee the availability of players in the BBL ?

The number of players leaving for the SA20 and IL20 comps for more money is only going to increase. So Cricket Australia can either increase the amount it pays international players to come here, or pay overseas boards to keep players here for the full duration of the tournament.

(Yes salty post as we won't have Evans for finals)

If they reduced the comp by only a week, most could probably play finals.

Just a few more double headers would do it.

Better option might be to try work with those leagues to schedule so there's no overlap and in return not schedule Aus internationals during those comps so our best players can go play there. The IPL teams own most teams in those comps so if it comes down to money, I don't think the BBL wins out, even if the BBL pays more, players won't want to get IPL franchises offside
