With Laurie Evans gone our batting is shocking. Hopefully Eskanazi's finger needs amputation because he's the worst top order bat in BBL. Wasted 2 overs on a batting paradise. Bowlers were shit too.

It's at the point now where Agar shouldn't start at Optus next season.
Maybe look at bringing Stoinis home next season. Offer him the chance to open (his preferred spot which he isn’t doing at the stars). He’s not short of coin playing in many leagues so the incentive of playing in front of a packed Optus rather than an empty MCG may be there
Save him for the turning wickets over east and get Turner and a specialist spinner to bowl at Optus. It’s not like his batting is adding anything. Would be nice to recruit a comptent leggie

They probably see him as depth in case there's an injury or as a replacement for Evans.

Looking that way, but not sure I remember any/many others being released from the squad to play BBL.
