So in back to back drafts we enter at 74 and 61?
We'll have 42 and 48 (draft order may have changed slightly due to free agency). I'm just assuming but port with two picks in the first two rounds would be unlikely to be worried about the third pick they possess.

48 is not confirmed as part of the trade. Should wait.

In exchange for Impey, Port Adelaide will receive pick 33, 61 and Hawthorn’s future fourth round selection. Hawthorn also secured pick 67 as part of the deal.

In: Impy, 61 and future 4th round pick
Out: 33 and 67

We squeezed an extra pick out of them for only a 6 pick downgrade?? It might only be a future fourth - but those picks can be where Wrighty shines when picking players in the draft.

Wrighty, take a bow!

Now I see why they summarised it as Impey for 33. What a set of totally irrelevant pick swaps.

And what I'm reading is that they get our future 4th, not the other way around.

I agree. But I also think that sort of thing comes with maturity.

The finish to this year will be burning as well, can definitely see it driving them

Yes definitely, maturity is what they lack...they'll improve on this year...reckon the heat will be on Goodwin if they miss again though. Just think there are better/more seasoned sides burning for a crack whilst the window is open...eg Syd, Cats, Crows on top of Tigs & GWS.

Agree on those 5, mostly, but I also have Melbourne as better than the rest of the chasing pack - Essendon, West Coast, Port, St Kilda, ourselves, Collingwood

Meh colour me unimpressed as we pay slight overs again for a player that can't perform in finals.

Edit:
In exchange for Jarman Impey, Port Adelaide will receive pick 33, 61 and Hawthorn’s future fourth round selection. Hawthorn also secured pick 67 as part of the deal.

Second Edit:
If we finish last, we have effectively given up pick #23

If we finish first, we have effectively given up pick #30
