Oh well. Maybe he still will.

In the team selection article they said he'd miss a week with 'calf soreness', so he should be back next week.Anyone know the details on Giles' calf? Likelihood of being back round 13?
Injured his knee in his first game back from a fractured wrist (round 8); he looked set to be back this week or next but his timeline was pushed back out to 2-3 weeks in this weeks injury update. Hopefully he can stay on the park in the second half of the season and earn an AFL debut.Any word on Clifton? Been looking forward to seeing him out there.

ISRAEL Folau is the major victim of GWS's excessive travel this season after he was ruled out again this week, missing the Giants' Melbourne Cricket Ground debut against fellow strugglers Melbourne on Sunday.
With an unprecedented 10 return flights in their first 12 matches, after three during the pre-season, an excessive burden has been placed on the AFL's newest team.
Folau was a late withdrawal for the Giants first game at their new home, Skoda Stadium, against Essendon in round nine, with a minor hamstring strain. However, he has now missed more than a month with what GWS sports science manager John Quinn said had become a back problem.
"There's obviously something going on there," Quinn told The Daily Telegraph yesterday. "We treated him (for a hamstring strain) and everything seemed to be going all right, there were no symptoms at all, then he had a twinge in his back."
Quinn claimed Folau could have played on Sunday but had been overlooked as a precaution.
"He'll be available next week but from a sports science point of view I think we'd be recommending a conservative return for Izzy," said Quinn. "He might not come straight back and play AFL."

3-4 weeks did seem generous, I guess at this stage of the season it's better to hold him out than push it and have something linger into the pre-season.They told us 4 weeks ago that Shiel would be 3-4, now it's another two. Doesn't sound good. Then again, I said at the time I thought it would be longer. You'd think that Tyson would come back via the magoos but Cornes and Cogs could slot straight back in.
