A couple of good guesses.

The players in the top 11 are (in alphabetical order, so I'm not accused of giving anything away): Cox, Darling, Gaff, Kennedy, MacKenzie, Masten, Naitanui, Priddis, S.Selwood, Shuey, Wellingham.

We'll knock off the next few a bit later this afternoon, after I try to get my entire day's work done in the next hour. Stupid slow-moving trade period.

Stay tuned.

Naitanui has already finished 13th. I felt something move downstairs when I thought about possibly having two Nic Nats in our team :D

I assume the other one is Glass

Aha, so someone's paying attention. (More than me it seems )

Yes Glass is in, NicNat is out.

11th. Dean Cox

Despite playing every game for the fourth successive season, the champion ruckman started to show his age at times during 2013. Forced to shoulder more of the ruck burden than the club would have liked due to NicNat either sitting out or struggling through injury, Cox did turn out a few vintage performances including 44 hitouts against the Suns and four goals against the Bulldogs. He was also one of the few players to put in for Embley and Selwood’s last game, picking up a season-high 27 possessions against Adelaide.

Best match: Rd 4 vs Carlton – 3.26
BOG performances – Rd 4 vs Carlton

The younger Selwood brother wasn’t quite up to last year’s standard, but still managed to sneak into this year’s Top 10. Scooter did pick up votes in 14 of the 18 games he played, and was judged West Coast’s best in the loss to Carlton when he picked up 32 possessions while nullifying that Judd bloke. He also got double figures in tackles on no less than seven occasions, and was one of the few players to stand up in the last month while the team as a whole was plumbing new depths.

9th. Andrew Gaff

Weighted average: 13.02
Best match: Rd 18 vs Western Bulldogs – 4.76

The lightly-built wingman was one of just two players to play every game, but failed to build on last year’s runner-up finish. The youngster struggled most weeks with a tag, and had a poor first half of the year before finally showing some form after the break. Gaff was among the best in back to back games against Hawthorn and Essendon coming off the bye, and then got off the chain for 31 possessions in the loss to the Bulldogs to get top votes.

8th. Sharrod Wellingham

Weighted average: 16.97
Best match: Rd 21 vs Geelong – 4.68
BOG performances – Rd 19 vs Gold Coast, Rd 20 v Essendon, Rd 21 vs Geelong

The big name recruit was missing in action early in the year after falling off a trampoline in the pre-season and severely injuring an ankle. He returned to make his debut in the Round 6 win over the Bulldogs, but two weeks later injured his ankle again which resulted in another lengthy layoff. Wellingham managed to get back for the final seven games of the season, and showed why he was recruited with one golden month of footy where he was best-afield three times and narrowly pipped for the honours in the fourth.

7th. Matt Priddis

Not much needs to be said about Priddis – it’s all already been said in every votes thread all year. Constant debate aside, Pridda had a typically consistent year, leading the club in possessions, clearances and Brownlow votes. Despite that he only received BOG honours once (in the home loss to Essendon when he used the ball uncharacteristically well while picking up 33 touches and a goal) but was in the top five another half a dozen times.

I honestly don't understand the continued critisism of Priddis. He's not a superstar but is better than most at WC. I understand this argument has been going for a long time on this board but I just don't buy it. I have played and watched my share of football and I don't undertand the huge negativity surrounding him on this board. As I said he's not perfect but why attack him? Anyway that's my two cents.

6th. Jack Darling

Goals: 42
Votes: 629
Weighted average: 17.94
Best match: Rd 16 vs Fremantle – 4.83
BOG performances – Rd 16 vs Fremantle

Last year’s leading goalscorer took just a small step back this year due to the reintroduction of Josh Kennedy as the number 1 forward target. Still just 21 years old, Darling kicked bags of five goals on four occasions, including in the second derby when he was almost universally judged to be West Coast’s best.

5th. Luke Shuey

Games: 14
Goals: 9
Votes: 598
Weighted average: 18.27
Best match: Rd 13 vs Hawthorn – 4.60
BOG performances – Rd 6 vs Western Bulldogs, Rd 13 vs Hawthorn

Gun young midfielder Shuey had a strong first half of the season, getting judged the Eagles’ best in the win over the Bulldogs (25 disposals, 2 goals) and the away loss to Hawthorn (33 disposals, 2 goals) in amongst some other solid performances. Unfortunately repeated hamstring injuries meant that he played just two games after the Hawks loss, each one of them ending in him being subbed off with ice on the hammy.

4th. Darren Glass

Games: 20
Goals: 0
Votes: 717
Weighted average: 23.42
Best match: Rd 7 vs Brisbane – 4.43
BOG performances – Rd 7 vs Brisbane

The indefatigable captain had another great year, defying his ageing body to again lead from the front (at the back). Last year’s All-Australian captain shifted to a floating third-tall role in 2013, letting MacKenzie and Brown take the opposition’s best talls. Glass picked up best on ground honours in the win over Brisbane, and also polled well in the loss to Sydney, the last-second win over North, and the final three disastrous weeks.
