Bill Shorten - how long?

So in 2019 Bill will be failing the challenge of our democracy, politicising the issue of marriage equality when he doesn't need to?
Nah, won't be an issue in 2019.

Have you forgotten all the blocked budget savings that Labor and Greens won't pass?
Blocked for very good reasons-still a lack of governance on Tone's part. Gillard, who you probably have no time for, would have gotten it through months ago. By making changes and by negotiating-these are things Tone can't manage- more than 3 words needed for example.

"When senior union officials dud their workers to boost their power, they are saying that they are more important than the workers they represent,"

"What could be more shameful, what could be more embarrassing, for someone who has the sacred trust to represent the workers of Australia than to put himself or herself ahead of those whose job it is for them to represent."

That why now or any time in the future billy is toast

That will be the main attempt to nail him. After all, they spent they didn't spend $80 million looking into his background just to let it all lay.

However, they didn't actually get him with much. Joe Hockey has charge taxpayers $184K to stay in his wife's house. Brownwyn spent $88K on going to Europe and ten times that on her overall travel perks. Shorten got a dodgy $40K.

Plus, the overall story of how a Union boss may have acted in the interest of the companies rather than just holding out until his workers got big money (like other infamous unions) is actually not that detrimental to him. Plenty of people are anti-Union because they see them as anti-business, but the overall publicity from the Royal Commission showed that Unions often work with business, not against it. I don't think your attempt to frame it as immoral or greedy or an integral insight to his character will stick.

And Union members aren't about to vote Liberal as shown in the recent CFMEU ad highlighting the Chinese workers coming in under the FTA.

Poor pensioners and low income earners already suffering from high energy accounts since the carbon tax was repealed and gas likely to go up again next month. Thanks to FTA. Still waiting for my $500 savings. This from a PM that has no idea about the reality of being an honest low income tax payer.

Yep the price rises were opportunist action by the retailers - never miss an opportunity to gouge!

That's all irrelevant conflict of interest bill is toast

did you here how bill went down to Tasmanian miners tragedy on pratts jet? a company he'd just done a deal with over workers rates .....he is dead in the water

As for those upright people at Cmfeu I think we will find more and more guest workers building things as happens throughout Asia. Unfortunately these unions pushing the envelope should only blaim themselves.

I wonder if it is immoral or greedy to accept $30, 000 in donations from a gambling lobby just as you are sponsoring a bill overturning the previous governments legislation designed to stop problem gamblers blowing their money on the pokies.

chloe bryce thought she might become the first lady, now looking iffy, and prolly, decade divorce odds favoured over first lady. Politicians are the best pantsmen, they define the term and are under the macquarie dictionary definition of solipsism. It was what Henry said about power, politicians and aphrodisiacs. can you ever see Kissinger copping a reacharound let alone a root outside the confines of matrimony or the knock shop?

At the rate Billy's Turnback and Renewable "policies" were unraveling today he will be gone by Christmas and Jeremy Albanese will be taking his place.

The Guru when anything bad happens to Labor or a Conservative government declares war on something somewhere

When people used to tell me Bill was a pants man I didn't believe it - its not like he had irascible charm like Hawkey - at best it is lukewarm smarmyness!

So whinge about Abbott spending too much but applaud spending cuts being blocked

Logical.

Reckon poor old Craig Emerson wished he kept his ferret on a tighter leash.

I think we have an unlikely pair of book ends, an oompa loompa as opposition leader & a toby jug as PM.

Big forehead at one end & big ears at the other:p

Also perhaps Shrek as treasurer:rolleyes:

How about Olive Oil as foreign minister & the Terminator as finance minister?

Anyone else?
