He has been in the AFL for a while now. So I would be thinking that by this point he would have showed a little more ability to this point. I just don't believe him arriving at the club increases our ability to win a flag

Yarran is silk, the issue he has this year is that his natural run and attacking mindset has been destroyed with Malthouse game plan. Given freedom to roam HHF for us, to tackle, chase and also run into goal, it makes me moist. he is exactly what we need. a Medium who can both play forward and back with elite speed and disposal. For those that knock him, go check out his games in 2012-2013.
He is a icing player, not a work horse. I just think its a great type of player the club has been chasing and hope they can pull it off. Now we need another inside mid, and a small defender.

Combination of Edwards and Yarran up fwd will make our fwd line less sloppy and more threatening.

Do you think we are looking at getting a ruck replacement or just keeping Hammer on to replace Maric eventually and back our midfield to win despite not having one of the better Ruck's in the league?
You don't think his natural instincts will be curbed by Dimma and Co? We do have a tendency to do that ala Lennon, Dusty, Mcintosh, Tuck ect...
Only Lids and Shed I feel we give license to do as they want and even then not totally but they can stay in the system/game plan and do it.
Most of those guys have emerged better players but there have been teething problems. Dusty is the only one I believe has been confined by his role and a lesser player for it.
Yarran has 7 years of doing as he pleases will be hard to adjust.

The real allure for me with Danger and paying a stupid amount is the FA part.
Yes Motlop and Treloar would be amazing aswell but the trade will be costly in addition to the contract.
Landing a gun FA is really an extra leg up on list managment.
Land a gun FA like Danger and you can still trade or draft for a gun, this is what we need most off all, its just very unlikely.

That is a good question and time will tell brother.
IMO if and I say if as the blues would have to say yes, as he is contracted and we wont offer our first round. If he plays for us, he will be coming in with a mindset to prove himself and shove it up the blues, he is that type of personality imo. So i can see him following and embracing Damiens message. I will say this, if we play him in the HBF 100% of the time, ill ****en cut my **** off.

The allure for me is Danger is a big bodied mid we need. Treloar is great but doesn't meet the contested ball winning machine we lack.
