Was mentioned somewhere Cotts wouldnt be back until after the bye.

The update in the stickied post does say as much, “Underwent scans which revealed navicular stress reaction. Club will work through rehabilitation plan in coming weeks.
Availability: to be reassessed following the Club's Round 14 bye. (Update: 14 May)”

We likely wont see Cotts for 4-5 weeks unfortunately.

Our game is very demanding and challenging on the players' physics. The level of impact they absorb is tremendous its a heavy contact sport. If we want to maintain the spectacle as we know it then the only way around the enormous injuries is shorter game time and reduced seasons.
No need, just pick better athletes instead of trying to take a slow team and get it to compete with a much faster one every week.

Geelong got around doing it for years mostly, but started falling away and eventually had to address it. North didn't, and went into yet another full rebuild.

Really disappointed for Pitt - he has been in some incredible form over the last month or so. Hoping it isn't too serious and we get him back quickly. Four big tests this week - hope they all get up. Sooner we can start building some cohesion with a team including those players the better

I think the tests for Fogarty, Saad and Motlop is another way of saying available. “Test” seems to be another code word for available.

I think at this point we are just getting confirmations that Sam Durdin is still with us in the form of updates. :p I am not confident he will play a game and that he’s only the depth to the backups depth.

Like always "test" are always known within clubland as to who will likely play
