Why don’t they admit Walsh is struggling again with his back and let him go try and get it fixed. Again. It’s so obvious. He’s lost all his agility.I’d sooner have Carroll in the middle and Walsh on a wing personally.

He’s not Jai Newcomb Jesus Christ. Not pacy but not slow. Hard and tough. Wins a lot of contested ball. Think Jai Newcomb
No way. He just isn’t the same player. Isn’t running to as many contests. Isn’t getting the ground balls. Isn’t getting out of trouble. It’s quite sad to watch.Unfortunately our club loves to tip toe around that sort of information, could be the player himselfs choice, but either way it does seem noticeable.
Granted, he probably has 40 and 2 goals today… lol
He hasn’t done a pre season for 2 years. For Gods sake, cut him a bit of slackNo way. He just isn’t the same player. Isn’t running to as many contests. Isn’t getting the ground balls. Isn’t getting out of trouble. It’s quite sad to watch.

While I can’t stand the years of defending of Russell….i want to hear from the club about just how much injury prevention work they do. There’s an enormous amount of joint activation, strengthening, plyometric, stability etc work they can do. Enormous amount. If anything I would say it’s more important than the ridiculous amount of repeat sprints they do preseason.
But let’s hear it. Let’s hear the club talk about what they do to prevent injuries. We certainly deserve explanations. Science has come a long long way on this front. Have we?
Was wondering if something was up, spent almost the whole last quarter on the benchRumour on X Apparently Gov did a hammy late and will get a scan. This is now beyond ridiculous if true.
He was off for the majority of the last quarter, so nothing is surprisingRumour on X Apparently Gov did a hammy late and will get a scan. This is now beyond ridiculous if true.
I noticed he was off too so I kept a close eye on him post game. He didn’t look hindered at all and seemed quite happy. He was off for the majority of the last quarter, so nothing is surprising

No ice on the hammy, which indicates it wasn’t a strainWhat’s the Williams one about…
- They said hammy during the game
- looks sad on bench
- then said nope it’s cramp… hmmmm
You would have to jinx us wouldn't you.We are only 1 injury off fielding a fully injured team!
17 existing injuries but the 18th is on me? I think your pattern recognition skills need some work mate! You would have to jinx us wouldn't you.
Watching Walsh in recent weeks, I don’t think his problem is his injuries. He seems to be moving well enough. I think his disposal has been off and his decision making has been terrible. He seems to be second guessing himself too much and making the wrong call. Why don’t they admit Walsh is struggling again with his back and let him go try and get it fixed. Again. It’s so obvious. Just get rid of * immediately... Things can only get better from here on with player managing....17 existing injuries but the 18th is on me? I think your pattern recognition skills need some work mate!
