It's actually bafflingIm so scarred by mckay and marchbanks knee injuries.
Both played out the game and looked fine...marchy even got interviewed after the game.
Then bang, mid week we get the news they're out for 6 weeks.

Cant we sacrifice some * pies or Tigers players insteadI’m starting to think all of these are sacrifices to the injury gods to keep Charlie fit. It’s the price to pay.
In comparison, I was surprised at how broad and solid across the shoulders Cuningham is. Looked really solid in a a dress shirt. My partner saw Jack Martina few days ago and said she was staggered to see how frail he was. She’s seen a few players in person with me (Marlion PickettPLAYERCARDSTART19Jack Martin

I do wonder if he needs to stack a bit of muscle on, he is an outlier in terms of his body composition for a senior player.
If Martin has done his calf again, at what point do we cut our losses?

His calves are simply made of paper. Let's see what the damage is.
Would be phenomenal.Been told that Weiters and Pitto are both ahead of schedule, we're hopeful of a return for the St Kilda game (in a fortnight) for the two of them.
Some say he failed the real test last night anywayMartin was just calf tightness and will be a test this week
Honestly against one of the top4 keyforward duo, he did quite well. people saying he was fumbly well yeah, it was pissing down and greasy all night. Worth keeping on the list for depth once we have a few come back from injury, just hoping he doesn't start to breakdown every fortnight like the rest of our defenders aaaa.Do we know what Durdins injury is and whether it will keep him out?. I was impressed with him.

Durdin left the field during the fourth quarter of Thursday night’s game against Richmond and was unable to play out the game.
He underwent scans on Friday morning which confirmed the injury, which at this stage will likely rule the key defender out until approximately Round 19.
Jack Martinwas subbed out of the game in the fourth quarter with calf tightness. At this stage he is expected to be a test to play next Saturday’s game against Fremantle.PLAYERCARDSTART19Jack Martin

Will be interesting to see if we resign him at the end the year. Been pretty resilient in the sanfl but injured first game back and had an injury history at the roos. Would be a tough call but we can't really afford another injury prone depth player.S. Durdin out with an MCL for a month
Don't believe they've posted anything about it, but you do youCarlton Twitter fan account
niceAccording to Tom Browne Durdin likely to miss a couple of weeks with his knee knock which is a better outcome then was feared. Martin was just calf tightness and will be a test this week.

Have you had a torn meniscus before? Not coming for you as I see you've got a few replies. But meniscus tears are tricky as they often settle down relatively quickly and can be considered as "general knee soreness" e.g. knee-on-knee knock - until put under another high stress situation where the persistent problem becomes apparent.
