Great news re: Marchy (even if I do have concerns that he struggles to run out games).

I just said a very bad word whilst skimming this and seeing some other clubs' lists.

Like, really bad.

He could've run that game out but Carlton held him back as a precaution. It was said if it were any other player they'd have gone back out and finished the game.

Marchy certainly has some mental demons to overcome, wouldn’t be surprised if it was more his decision based on his history and fear of getting injured again.
He needs some continuity just playing, getting the hits, the bruises and general short term pain that comes with it to really get used to playing again….

Carroll with busted finger preferred over fit Dow... yikes.
I dont think it is like for like with Dow and Carroll.

It just shoes how thin we are on the ground with injuries at the mo.

Martin will replace Jack if his finger is still sore. (If i broke my finger I'd be off work for a fortnight!!!!! luckily I have have a fair bit of sick leave in my piano testing job).

How about Martin goes into the VFL to prove he's over his calf injury??? Not so sure Martin is the automatic in many here seem to think he is.

Not sure that makes much sense. If he wasnt over his 2 week calf injury he wouldnt be deemed fit to play.

You would think Martin is an automatic in for Carroll who has been playing as a permanent forward. Martin is 10 times better then Carroll in that role at present (and I rate Carroll). Kicked 5 goals and had 4 assists in his 3 games pre-injury. Also good overhead which will be handy in our short forward line. Can play as an undersized FF when SOS rucks.
