A meniscus tear would be the best outcome,an arthroscope to do a bit of a clean out and he could be good to go in a couple of weeks.
Back by round 22 or 23 if it’s going to be a clean up. 2 weeks to recover, 2 weeks to rehab and start running again. Cherry ripe by the finals.

Great to hear by all reports it's unlikely to be an ACL or even PCL.

Sadly for us, if it puts Mckay out for even 4 weeks it'll probably cost us finals...our list lacks depth when it comes to tall forwards.
It's always hard to lose an important player, but I'd like to think that our simplified game plan, confident ball movement and most importantly (from my perspective) our vastly improved delivery into the F50will create the opportunities needed to win any game till season's end, even without big H..

Watching replay, how many times did Charlie give a goal assist with the right tap at right time?
Unbelievable!
I don’t think he had any thoughts of getting two hands on any of those deep high kicks. Just engage Alir and hold him off with one hand to bring it to ground for the smalls.
Charlie Dixon put on an almost identical display for Port two months ago.

Sooper smart!

Both Cerra and McGovern were listed as 'out' of the game due to injury by the final siren yesterday. Has anything been said about them?
Gov was sore after the game. Had a few high speed collisions. Also hurt his ankle at one stage but got through the game. I dare say he'll be fine for next week. I reckon he doesnt want to miss any football as he's playing for a contract.

We looked dangerous with out him last season as well.

Makes the forward line more dynamic

Not that he wont be missed. Still a big time player
Actually makes us less predictable going forward and defenders unsure who our target is - bringing the mediums/smalls like Martin, JSOS, Cuners, Motlop and Fog more into the game.

Bring Young in to assist TDK in the ruck - both versatile enough to rest either forward or back as required.

Suspect that Boak and Bergman were more sore after their high speed collisions with Mitch.

We would have won by another 5 goals if H had have played out the game. His marking up the ground with CC on Jonas would have been huge. We also had difficulties bring the ball out of defence at times.
