Sam usually gets pretty good mail relating to Carlton. He had Gov coming to Carlton before anyone else did.

He had some inside knowledge he was not happy at Crows for sure. Carlton had indicated when Crows first keen on Gibbs that something like McGovern and Cameron would have to come our way to let him go early.
Hardly a secret if he wants out of Crows and a year earlier we showed some interest that Sam was really needing to dig deep to work it out.

He was pretty **** sure of himself Brad Scott was Carlton's next coach too so listen to Sam with a level of guesswork at play on his part that will sometimes be made to sound more solid mail than it really is...
