While he may miss the occasional target, I think Newman is one of our best distributors whether it's an easier outlet kick, or taking on harder options

His vision is elite

Biggest thing that his teammates can learn from him is that he very rarely bites off more than he can chew. Makes some challenging passes look easy as a result as he can back himself in when he takes them.

Others on our list go for kicks outside of their skill set a little too often for my liking which inevitably sells a teammate out.

Richmond are going to be dead set dogshit for 4+ years. Going to take some rebuilding

Why would Noah Balta want to spend his prime there. We should be asking the question very hard.

Yeh apparently it’s down to North or us,at this stage they are better placed with picks but more than likely Austin will devise a plan if we really want him.

Can’t imagine Houston agreeing to be traded to North, he will more than likely stay with Port if he can’t get to a team in the window

You'll be suprised. They will improve quickly with a midfield of Uniake, Wardlaw, Sheezel, Mckercher and Xerri for starters.
Agree North have a special elite midfield, will probably add another gun or more from this draft so yah they’ll start to climb fairly quickly, similar to the Hawks this season.

Saad has a big kick and, over time, that has been confused with him having a great kick. His disposal efficiency is high but that's because he always kicks it high and long to a contest. So he technically hits a target but it's in no way damaging.

Newman has arguably the best kick in our team. Unfortunately at times for Newy, he knows it and so he bites off more than he can chew. If he simply stuck to the basics he would be easily regarded as one of the best disposers by foot in the league.
Interesting commentary during our final on the go blue broadcast- Skinny Lappin said categorically that Saad was the best kick he had coached.
Was critical on how he’s used.

Newys kicking is about as damaging as a kitten chasing yarn & is prone to very sloppy mistakes.
