There have been preliminary discussions with one of Cooks old colleague to come and head up our national recruiting department.
Still yet to be confirmed, just whispers, so don’t strike me from the board if nothing eventuates.
I for one would be ecstatic if the club could pull this off.

I will share what I shared with ferrisb about an hour before B70's post.


I'll re-word it so it's better articulated (I was out with Mr 6 at the Railway Museum eating lunch when I shared with Ferris)


The pride of Kennett and/or Clarkson could be the hitch holding up getting our man. It's all coming down to $$$ and how much Clarkson can squeeze out of the Hawks (he won't let them out of their commitment to him for nothing). This could potentially be where Sayers and the likes of Pratt could broker a deal.


There is a panel belief that Kingsley's presentation skills are "slightly" ahead of Gia's. The feeling is that Kingsley is more ready now to be a head coach but the belief is that Gia will eventually be an outstanding head coach.


It is quite possible that if Clarkson comes on board we'll go with the Gia as the senior assistant route. However, if we don't get Clarkson then Kingsley could be the likely option.

Now with Lyon, unsurprisingly, back in the picture I personally feel much more likely that it's Clarko -> Ross -> Kingsley. I have a gut feeling that a decision in favor of Voss would be the club shoehorning itself into that experienced coach (although I'm on record as saying that I personally would like Voss in the past)
