what do you know about JDG?

Met him have you?

He will be not guilty and basically did fu** all

I don't condone any violence or assault against women, he didn't do anything wrong

Were you there at the time of the alleged incident? Have you provided your statement to police?

Why so much hate for Shiel?

Young lad went to a team that looked promising, he gave us every opportunity to get him over the line but you know, the fact we won 2 games that year may have played an influence.

Camporeale, Allen, Goddard, Shiel, the karma bus doesn’t take kindly to Carlton people who cross to the dark side..

Keep stating your opinion as fact...

So let's see, you were there when our management spoke to Saad and you were there when DeGoey committed his act...

Are you omnipresent?

Collingwood have tried him as a mid- isn't fit enough or frankly good enough.

No, he’s forward mostly because they have an average forward line and an awesome midfield already.

That’s what they were saying about Petracca before this year, I was a big fan of trying to poach him last off-season. DeGoey will do the same if given the opportunity

That's cool. We have different philosophies. Im more than happy to trade out a kid if it allows the club to grab someone that may be better suited.
But this next bit is not opinion..
Fact..not all of our kids are going to make it.
Fact..there will be a time an interstate kid will want to 'go home'.
Fact.. kids who aren't getting gametime do leave for greater opportunities.
Fact...with Free Agency becoming more and more a real concern, clubs may trade out a player a year or so before to maximise return.

Isn't it funny how so many here use these exact same arguments when talking about luring players to Carlton, but will put their head in the sand when applying the same reasoning to players moving on from Carlton
This. furthermore part of the reason SOS stockpiled so many high end draft picks was to have the flexibility to trade players to complete the final pieces of the Jigsaw puzzle. Keep the best and trade or at worst de-list the rest. Do we assume recruitment expected that our plethora of young midfielders could all
1. succeed (good problem to have if they did), and
2. All fit in the team (best 22)

I'm excited by the prospect of Willo being pushed up to a wing with Saad inclusion. I think that is his spot.

Showed some very nice glimpses against Brisbane pushing up the ground. Could be a real weapon for us delivering the footy into the forward 50

Sam Petrevski-Seton had an interesting 2020, definitely wasn't up to his 2019.. I'm not sure what that was down to, was his mind elsewhere, or just because of Covid, or what?
The Covid restrictions have affected a lot of players this year. Guys who were expected to take a step forward have gone slightly backwards because of the restricted training facilities clubs have had access to. It will have also messed with their mental health as well.

I'd take Lachie Hunter anyday of the week over De Goey. Dogs would be desperate to get some draft picks in for their kid. Pick 7 and 28 might cut it for Hunter i would reckon. Saad can be done with future 1st and maybe a 3rd as well?

C - L.Hunter P. Cripps S.Walsh
R - T. De Koning Z. Willams W. Setterfield

Thats is an amazing core with ample back up. Plus Hunter would not cost us an arm and a leg in salary
