So in the last few days we have had;
Clarko will coach
Voss Will coach
Gia will coach
Pyke will coach.

Who are we suggesting today? Can I suggest we try out Buckley for the day or bring back an old classic Ross Lyon?
Lyon was on Classics Hits last night - with this number belted out

So Cerra was drafted pick 5, has shown every bit he is worthy of being drafted at that selection, has 10 years left of his best years ahead of him but now he’s only worth pick 14 and maybe a fringe player?
Yeah was just spitballing. He's definitely worth at least 6 but if we got rid of it and no longer have 6 to give, 14 plus something may have to do.

Cerra is still in the mix and we are still more likely than Melbourne.
Austin has enquired about several trade scenario. Splitting pick 6 is a sure fire way to miss out on Cerra.

I struggle to believe we are ahead, he could just nominate Melbourne and freo have to deal with them cause they won’t let him go for nothing

Pyke could've interviewed this week, if he's got it I'd assume he hasnt 'got it' yet and the info coming out is more along the lines of chatter getting out that he's started the process well.

Good point about not starting until finals are done.

I've also heard he's not keen on leaving Sydney City so would be surprised.
Yeah I agree with that and I'd be happy for him to be in the race. It would also be great if he started the process well. The rumour that he has "got it" didn't sit well with what we know, including the reason you mentioned.

Do you reckon we'd also want the CEO in place before making the decision on the head coach? We could make the decision without them in place but it is also a really significant decision for the organisation. I imagine the CEO would want / expect some involvement. I also imagine they would usually be the one that formally puts the recommendation to the board (just a guess)

Given we’ve also sacked the CEO and most of the assistants have also gone, I presume it went a bit deeper than what you’re implying.
"We will conduct a footy dept review and depending on how that goes and the rest of the season we will make some moves"

*Season doesn't go well
*Moves are made at the end of the season, not before the review is complete so decisions aren't premature

"Man, this review seems like a Hoax"

this.

yes he is out of contract and yes he’ll get to his club of choice. But if we are his preferred option and we make it too difficult he’ll look elsewhere for a club that can get the trade done.

I reckon we may haggle but it’ll end up as something involving 6, and change.

I don't think it's necessary to have a ceo before coach but it's probably desirable. Sayers is probably acting as CEO atm anyway

If we don’t snare Adam Cerra , it’s a lost opportunity, a well balanced midfielder that can kick a ball with at least 6/7 good quality years ahead of him is too good an option to pass up.
There absolutely no guarantee that a newly drafted 18/19 year will be able to fully develop his potential and deliver same quality service, we have Paddy Dow as a glaring example a recent p3 & stagnant, it’s painful to think Adam could have easily been a Bagger.

If we miss on Cerra we can always split the pick with Brisbane and get Mitchell and a late first.
Yeah I'd be happy with that. People criticise Mitchell for being a stat crab but he is exceptional at stoppages. Think of the amount of run ons we allowed this year starting with getting smashed in the middle
