Possibly - Patrick White did win the Nobel Prize for literature mainly on the basis of the novel. 'Voss' is not an enjoyable read, but what would I know>

The storyline of that book was about a boy who was obsessed with a girl who he had only met a few times.

… this sounds like Carlton and Clarko.

Try il Pizzaiolo in Darebin Rd Thornbury……closed temporarily through ‘Covid’ but delicious wood fired pizza….highly recommend
Hope it reopens as it’s our family favourite- but owner Frank might be trying other projects:(
Try Green Acre in Brunswick!! They are incredible. I live in Thornbury and always buy from here

the hate for gov in here is ridiculous. Very underrated! With a PROPER coach he will thrive

Agree with the first part, disagree with the second.

Who was Adelaide's forward coach in 2016 and 2017 when Mitch McGovern played 36 games, kicked 50+ goals and looked every bit an excellent footballer in a fantastic forward line?

Like?

Our midfield definitely needs help
Like a 3rd tall defender - seeing as though Marchbank, Williamson, Parks are not holding down the spot anytime soon.
Also, a developing Ruck, Pitonet is ok as a stop gap, but I can’t see him being there beyond his new 2 year extension, and De Koning is going to need backup.

Thank you. I love the 'how sh*t Essendon will be' - even takes me back to my Fitzroy days and this piece of magic - a dagger in the heart of Bombers - although I do concede that 1999 was beautiful.

I remember listening to this game on the radio in Hobart and being thrilled when the Roys got home! Out of interest, I never got to see a game at Waverley. What was it actually like watching footy there?
