However ruck is a position that they are not weak in. Darcy is a big unit. Lotta money to pay a second/ruck forward.yes, still young and lots of improvement

They want to play him as a ruck rover/on baller type.... might be better than Zac Williams in that role....However ruck is a position that they are not weak in. Darcy is a big unit. Lotta money to pay a second/ruck forward.
Not sure that Meek is much of a forward though. 3 goals in 15 games suggests not.Yup being banging on about need for an AFL ready Ruck support for Pitto,
for a quite a while.
its an obvious deficiency, in team structure , would allow greater flexibility and better utilization of other talls like TDK .
It would be an astute move by Austin.
That’s all that mattersSo that’s all you’ve got from the 1448 accounts he follows.
At over $1mill a year for seven years he'd want to be. In fairness they would both be players unproven in the position that the clubs hoped that they might work in.They want to play him as a ruck rover/on baller type.... might be better than Zac Williams in that role....
He will be a star mate, maybe an Adam Goodes type of player.
Perhaps, but if Freo want him to be their goal kicking saviour I think they are barking up the wrong tree, as he hasn`t been that at the Dees and they also have been crying out for another goal kicker as that has been their Achilles heel this season....He will be a star mate, maybe an Adam Goodes type of player.
Lets take pick 28 in the draft instead. Rucks are overated.Meek would be snaffled as support Ruck only, allowing us to develop TDK to his best potential.
We blessed with two elite KPF in Harry & Charlie.
Shades of 2008-10 on here with the desperation for ruck options - and list sizes are even smaller now
Would love players with Papleys intensity and competitiveness

We weren't meek this year really.I don’t want Meek I’ve had enough of it lol
Don't think so what? I said he was a Goode's type of player, not that he was as good as Goodes, he was a star.Don’t think so, I think people forget how great Goodesy was!!! Of the best I’ve seen, Jackson has a long way to go before his even half the player Goodesy was
I like Meek and believe he could carry a club as first ruck as he develops. Would expect the Cats to be in to him with Stanley and Ceglar both getting on. They have some capable youngsters Conway and Neale(more forward perhaps) at 19 and 20, but Meek would be in their wheelhouse.Lets take pick 28 in the draft instead. Rucks are overated.
I agree, we need a young dynamic half forward and another fast outside mid with elite disposal more than a hulking ruck this season.I like Meek and believe he could carry a club as first ruck as he develops. I have much more faith in Pitto, TDK and Mirkov than many on here and don’t see a ruck as a need.
We have one AFL capable ruck and one that will be if he adds 10kg this off season.
