Compo for Jayden Hunt going to WCE was pick 53. We are not getting anything bar a gesture of a pick for Jones.

Wanted to trade Cripps last year as well.

Would have a revolving door at the club getting rid of all the players he wants/wanted to get rid of.

Well i have had a look and can't find one of my posts saying "I wanted to trade Patrick Cripps". I found multiple posts saying I was open to trading anyone on the list, that all players were tradeable commodities, including Cripps etc etc. I found multiple posts suggesting "even a broke down Patrick Cripps has a price". I found a couple of posts posing a question about trading Cripps.

A gesture of a pick like 53 was what Lewis Young was traded for last year. Hopefully we get something higher than 53 but even if we donā€™t then we will have effectively swapped Young for Jones. At the end of 2021 that would have seemed a terrible deal but now having seeing him play in 2022 I think we did great there.

Part of that was because of where Melbourne finished. Likely we will either get end of 2nd rounder (37) or a pick after where our 3rd rounder would have been (48?)

Depends on length of contract, size of annual payment snd how AFL feel on the day. Hoping that they take into account his inability to play this year due to no fault of our club when they make that decision.

For a person allegedly not wanting to trade Patrick Cripps, you seemed to be talking about trading Patrick Cripps an awful lot....

What would a player like Harmes cost us in terms of picks etc? Or would we just look to on-trade whatever weā€™d get for Dow or Setters?

I like the idea of what Harmes brings to the team but not sure where he fits other than a Newnes replacement (fit, versatile, hard body, mature head etc)

Have to say that there were quite a few on this forum that were wanting the club to push him out as they said he was spent, but I get the feeling that they might be having memory lapses about now actually....o_O

Be the Lion in a field of sheep. :thumbsu:
Other than being rubbish calling everyone vaccinated sheep.

Whatā€™s a lion doing in a field?
Is it like friends with the sheep?
How did it get there?
Or is the field in the savannah- in which case how did the sheep get there?
Is the lion being shorn with the sheep?

So many questions.
Love those Attenborough documentaries where you see a lion huntingā€¦ sheep.
