Certainly the lowest number of Rumours that I have seen posted during the Trade Period during my time on Big Footy.

Think we used to get more per day than we have had in the last 3 to 4 weeks!!!

Signs that the Club is now very well run and everyone in the inner sanctum moving in the same direction.

A bit boring for us fans but will be better for the long term success of the club.

Go Blues!!!!
Whilst what you say could certainly be correct (hopefully it is), I think it is more a reflection of the fact that we have made many significant signings / re-signings over the past 12 or so months. Our salary cap would be tight for the first time in a long time and we therefor wouldn't have our fingers in anywhere near as many pies.

Listening to Josh Mahoney on trade radio, looks like the bombers trading pick 4 to slide back is a real possibility

Tired Good Night GIF by MLB

And herein lies our problem. The mentality of not being ruthless enough from top to bottom of the club. Good enough is just ok.
I don't mind being 'reasonable' almost 'meh' when it comes to nothing trades. Building a bit of goodwill may help us in the future. You can't screw everyone for the maximum without giving or else no-one wants to deal with you. Ala - Dodoro. Also helps to build a good poker face, not blinking when playing hard-ball on a player we really want/need.

Given *’s track record of drafting multiple 1st rounders in close proximity to one another (Parish/Francis & Cox/Perkins/Reid), I hope they do split Pick 4. 😂

Kemp has been touted as a handy player but hasn’t managed to stay in the side for more than a couple of games. Cuningham just hasn’t done anything, Injury aside, if they aren’t pushing for a spot in the 22 now, they aren’t going to.
Actually, to be ruthless, I think perpetual injury actually should be considered, if the body just isn’t up to it.

I'd definitely keep Kemp, Carroll and Philp. Thinks its absolute lunacy Cuningham got a reprieve after 7 years of not much at all.

Ok fair enough.

But the remarks Harry made were damning. Basically articulating a very unprofessional environment and playing group perpetuated by senior players.

Go back and look at the leadership at the time. Simpson, Gibbs,Murphy,Thomas Jamison, maybe Ed Curnow.

Blokes can play a lot of games and be great players. Doesn’t mean they were great leaders.

Absolutely still believe the club ballsed up the rebuild when SOS and the 2015 draftees joined the club. The likes of Simpson, Murhpy, Gibbs and Kruezer all should have been shown the door right then. I'll never be convinced it was right to retain them.

"Absolute lunacy" = Keeping someone who has shown a fair bit in a position of need for us but is injury prone on the list for minimum dollars for one year versus delisting him and drafting someone with pick 66.

At least you are not someone who gets carried away with your prognostications. :)

Eyes firmly shut I see. He's heading into his eighth season and shown virtually nothing in that time bar a quarter here, maybe a half there, occaisionally. His body of work in his previous 7 seasons doesn't warrant another one year deal, IMO. As I said, absolute lunacy.
