RCD had so much hype around him. With the new guys coming in, I guess they've given up on him. Was talked up as being their answer to Cripps but I could never see it.

None of those interest me.

Yeah, just had a quick skim of the Richmond board to see what was being said about RCD.

Taken the pick after Stocker, has some good traits, but just hasn't been able to improve his output enough to warrant a starting spot. Sounds like a poor man's Paddy Dow, to be honest. Good burst, clean hands, bit of height, but still lacks a tank and doesn't stay involved.

Stack apparently has major professionalism deficiencies. Would be interested if we were confident the delisting had given him the required kick up the arse, but think there'd be a pretty high chance of him reverting to poor practices in short order

Martyn I know nothing about, which probably says enough.

I didn't mind Aarts a couple of years back, but reckon he was one who looked good in a strong Richmond side with a very specific gameplan, and looks pretty ordinary when those stars haven't aligned. Minor upgrade on Owies, I suppose, but it'd be a negligible difference and Owies is contracted for a couple more years now, so meh.

I like Sydney Stack but we already have enough rebounding half backs. Probably not the right time in our build to bring in someone that has question marks on his preparation either.

Richmond has informed Jake Aarts, Sydney Stack, Riley Collier-Dawkins and Will Martyn that they will not be offered contracts in 2023.

Interested in Collier-Dawkins.

Because.... If we have learnt anything from Tigers supporters in the last four years, it's that RCD is going to be the next Cripps!

:p

Then he might as well come to CFC and shadow Crippa :D

Richmond couldn't get Stack sorted after four years of trying.

What makes us think we'd be able to?
Also true - he does seem like a campaigner of a bloke but Stengle was on a dark path and has turned it around in short order. Stack likely the more talented of the two also.

Would love to know more about Stacks story, feel like I’m blindly judging him. Clearly there is good reason for his delisting.

Couldn't keep away from late night Kebab stalls.

Wouldn't mind picking up Stack. Seems like a low risk high reward pick. Not sure how many free spots we have but could be a good option

Are we interested in the dark aarts though? Isn’t our midfield already stacked Will martyn be too dusty? RCD might be a good switch!

If Stack goes back and performs at state league, consider him then, until then the Stengle comparison is worthless.
Not only is the comparison worthless, it's also too big a risk.

A year at state level to show he's settle is needed before taking the punt.
