Some very interesting nominees - but did anyone notice the similarities....?

I'd guess that the two successful candidates will be Jameson and Goodings, both based purely on name recognition.

I've had a bit to do with Oren Klemich over the years. He's a great guy. I'd happily support his bid.

Right now my preferences in order are:

Oren Klemich - as above
Fouad Andrawos - a bit of diversity and clearly a football lover
Graeme Goodings
Tony D'Alessandro
Daniel Byrne
Adrian Swale - we have enough of these 'use the board to network' types already.

I'm leaning towards Goodings and Klemich, basically guys at the tail end of the careers who I feel aren't doing this as a networking/get it on the CV exercise but genuinely want to help the club.

Periodic reminder that all the other directors (ie the majority of the board) are voted on by our single special voting member - the AFL.
We are an AFL-controlled club, just like GWS and Gold Coast.
Try to keep in mind before you begin to hope we’ll stand up to the AFL about some issue.

Passable range of candidates but I think we have enough "executive/director" types on the board between Roche, Randall and Fennell

Jameson obviously has to go after his comments over the last few years

For me I like Byrne because he has a medical background which is a different skillset to the other current board members. Probably Goodings or Andrawos for the other spot

Goodings is a good mix of well known, but not part of the boys club - and won't be afraid to speak his mind and advocate for the members.

He is the number 1 ticket holder for the Crows Supporters Group and is quite active in that group.

I reckon Andrawos would be my other choice - I reckon he would provide a different viewpoint on the board to the status quo on there.

I’m pretty quick.

But Jamo, seriously? Why?
Footballers do football, Business men do bussiness, lawyers do legals, TV/Radio personalities do TV/Radio.

Plenty of those types already on there.

Jameson hasn't been part of that first group for a long long time.

I'd like Jamo to get back in and build on all the things that he has initiated in his time at the club

Chair of the past players club, created by Trigg when the wolves were circling. In the first 'vote' Jamo mentioned he'd contacted something like 95% of past players, 2 years later hes spruiking the exact same achievement.

So no matter how he's gone in the role, being one of the last remaining board members from the shit period, his sense of entitlement and media gaffs, he gets your vote because he played football 25 years ago. Like your thinking.
