Does anyone out there have any interesting Bomber memorabilia they'd like to share?

Probably the oldest thing I've got is my plastic Essendon cup from the late 70's/early 80's. Not terribly interesting I know but surely there must be some of us out there with some interesting stuff?

Tell us about it or, even better, post a pic!

Jumpers signed by the 1993 premiership team, 2000 premiership team, and a signed drawing of Dick Reynolds, Bill Hutchinson, John Coleman, and Norm McDonald.

:D

Hey does anyone know if there is anywhere for Essendon fans to buy and sell Essendon memorabilia other than ebay?

i've got multiple pieces of essendon memorabilia (both old and new)

old:
membership pins from the 1940s
trading cards from 1940s onwards (including scanlens 1963)
many badges (john coleman, dick reynolds, shell, esso, etc.)
1984 unopened can of victorian league lager (essendon edition)
many posters (including all weg premiership posters)

new:
champions of essendon print signed by all living champions (artist proof)
Limited edition ken fraser print brought out by scanlens to resurrect their 1966 cards
Signed characterture of james hird done by weg

thats just a few highlights of the collection

i bought the champions of essendon wine rack at the dinner announcing them - 25 bottles signed in an impressive mahogany rack. was in my early 20s at the time of purchase, had plenty to drink and was coming off a big win at the races! i'm glad i bought it though - got an offer from the vendor to buy it back at a much higher price about a week later after dick reynolds had passed away. i decided to keep it.

Thats great! Please post pics of each one!

Kidding of course. :D

But still that seriously is pretty impressive. I'm quite jealous and would love to see them.

Do you have any signed?
Ive got draft picks cards that are signed, from Stanton to the most recent rookie Myers.
But to make things worse, i spent about $60 each for Keppler bradley and Andrew lee:mad: So im hopeing Myers becomes a star:)

Some great stuff here.

That's brilliant efcboy. So gambling and alcohol abuse can lead to happy endings. :D

lol bad luck there, at least they both actually played games in the ones.

That reminds me actually, my uncle in law was on a plane coming back from Melbourne to Perth and he was with the team who were flying over for a game. He had that day's paper which had an article on Jay Neagle (he was playing his first game that weekend I think) and he got Jay to sign the article (I think he got McPhee and someone else as well). But he gave it to me as he knew what a diehard Essendon man I was. So hopefully Jay will be a superstar in coming years too.. and not just because of the autograph of course.

There's a couple he has purchased from Ebay to boost his collection.

Geez.. you wouldn't have wanted to get those wet at the game.. they'd disintegrate!

Not all essendon, but I have all living brownlow medallists (bar Gordon Collis) signed cards or as some cards hard to find a picture. Also some deceased winners, one being Reynolds which is good. I love them, keeps me interested too as each year I need to get another one!

I've got a framed red & black singlet with all of the players, staff, etc sigs. Even down to recruting managers (Dodoro) & fitness coaches. (Quinn, etc)
Got it all myself, went for a week or so to Latrobe Uni's oval whilst my arm was badly fractured about three years ago now when we were training there for a while. Would watch the boys train then I'd grab as many sigs as I can as they're walking off. Did that for about a week, then went to their training about half a dozen times after that at Windy Hill and got it completed. It has got a plaque and everything beside the singlet telling the viewers who's that sig it is and their position. (Eg. Coach, Rec. Manager, Fitness manager, etc)

I also got, during that time, everyone's photo from the Bomber Shop and got them all signed.

Bought a piece of memoribillia from the Bomber Shop with regards to our fantastic 2000 season with a pic & plaque and yeah, that's all I've got.

With all of that worrying and rushing, I've now kept away from our training for about a year or so, even though I do train there for umpiring after the Dons have completed their training sessions so it's all sort of connected. :D

I've got a personally signed copy of Reading the Play, as well as a jumper signed by various players and a shitload of records (including 2000 GF).
oh and I've got one of those too.

also have a Hungry Jacks BOG award from under 12s signed by Alessio lol.

I have a 1997 team poster signed by Joe Misiti, and 3 Essendon birthday cards signed by James Hird, Michael Long & Mark Mercuri. I also have an Essendon clock (produced by Crystalcraft) and an old Essendon giant foam hand that I purchased at the MCG in the mid 90's. We have a 2nd kid on the way (due in June) so I really should clear out the spare room to make way for the cot and all the other baby stuff we need to get.
