So we didn't match our best midfielder Brouch for less money than he currently on & much less than what we offered prior to COVID because the coach clearly doesn't want him... & we are sh*t a poker so happy to let him go for unders.
**** this club really knows how to deflate it's supporters.
RoughThanks for being so passionate but you don't know sh*t because you're not involved in the process. Essentially.
Groins...that required surgical intervention that our eggspurts Burton and Haas kept telling him were manageable without surgery, hence why he was so pissed off at the time that they wasted 12 months of his football life.Wasn't 2018 his foot injury? How did we mismanage him? Genuine question as I'm not all over it.
I just recall every time Brad got injured saying "FFS not again!", and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
They aren’t overstated, it’s not that common to be a best 22 player with 95 games in 8 seasons. Given his soft tissue injury history, he is significantly more likely to keep getting these issues and if he ever plays a full season for the Saints I’ll buy you a slab of any beer you want mate. It would have been irresponsible list management to sign someone like Brad to a 5 year deal and I’ve got no doubt as supporters we would be criticising the decision in less than 2 years time.
Sounds like a Mr Dangerfield

Binuk is elite at pick swaps, should get him involved in player negotiations...You obviously have more faith in the decision makers at the AFC than I do after this last shambles...

Have to disagree. I think we have damaged our club culture badly over the way players have departed in the last few years - topped off by Roo’s comments re not worth the money earlier this year.
No reason not to treat Brad with respect. He hasn’t done anything wrong by the club - we told him to shop himself can’t be grumpy when he leaves

Luckily that's not our problem anymore. It's St Kilda's.Gotcha, thanks.
I'm still not convinced about his body holding up though.
Am not here to gloat but just need to point out that you never dealt with us directly.
Saints dealt with Crouch and gave him what he wanted ...... Adelaide then chose NOT to deal with St Kilda and accept the AFL's compensation pick
There would NOT be one club in the league that would go out of there way to help out another club at the detriment of their own situation re: Salary Cap
We played by the rules as you guys would have if you were in our position.
As for hoping Brad breaks down ........ that's kind of sad
Good luck with pick 23 ...... I wouldn't write it off yet as being a dud pick and you have a good draft hand
Likely though you will have to pay GWS a 2nd rounder for Hately as we did for Steele
Needs more Ben HartAt least he's got a nice shirt
No current season stats available
Well no shit, but even at the time we extracted very good compo for someone who was a far lesser player than Crouch and who we knew was lazyWe only smashed Carlton in hindsight because McGovern has failed
You can’t say that at the same time highlighting he is now durable, Burton and Haas weren’t here in his early few seasons
We just saved $600K a year on Crouch ......go to the market & use it
Imagine the Crows supporters reaction if Crouch was out, and Caldwell in ......the negative feelings suddenly turn to positive feelings towards the club
It should have been one of the contingencies planned for in the Crouch scenario
Saints will prob ask for Matt in a trade for pick 17.so.. before we get ourselves in this fu**in absolute mess again next year with Brad’s brother Matt becoming a free agent can someone, any-fu**in-one, that has any fu**in connections with the absolute d1ckw@ds running the club please tell them to try and get the suns to give us their first rounder for Matt this year..
you just fuvkin know that that purple cu in the nt and his snivelling ******* media mates will talk down Matt Crouch’s value next year and claim he’s not worth a top 4 pick blah, blah, blah when we finish bottom three and Matt explores Free agency.PLAYERCARDSTART5Matt Crouch

best to fu**in get it over with now while the morons at our club still might have some sort of hand (Matt being contracted) to help them “bluff” with.. fu**in idiots.
Victorian clubs will come hard for Matt now they know they’ll be able to simply do the same thing the saints have done and the cheese eating surrender monkeys that make up the crows admin team will meekly roll over.
get it done.
I think we should be trying get that 'Frank' bloke from 'Amercian Pickers' onboard too. He loves to bundle up deals .. seems like an expertBinuk is elite at pick swaps, should get him involved in player negotiations...
We also need points for Newchurch, Borlase and potentially Edwards, but absolutely should be targeting that Bulldogs pick 14 as a start.yep.. fu**in C_nts.
hopefully there will still be some sort of break between the 1st round and the start of the remaining rounds that will still give clubs time to sweat on thinking about a player they really want that has slid and get on the phone to the crows..
we really need to just try and flip every pick we have from 22 onwards into 1st rounders for either this year or, preferably, next year..
lol .. Edwards isn't coming hereWe also need points for Newchurch, Borlase and potentially Edwards, but absolutely should be targeting that Bulldogs pick 14 as a start.
Nah they'll wait until next year and call our bluff againSaints will prob ask for Matt in a trade for pick 17.
