If the offers for him are seriously in the 400s and he hasnt already signed for the crows then it's pretty clear the crows are pushing him out and won't match. Can't force a trade if you're not willing to match.

It does but the crows can make an offer any time. If the in-principle offers are that low why waste your time waiting? Not like the crows management have anything else on their agenda at the moment. Who knows. Media speculation on this one has been out of hand for a while

Teams are still playing finals, we have no idea if all offers have come in yet and there is plenty of time for clubs to still throw their hat in the ring. Who knows, St Kilda might decide to have a crack now that they are out of the finals
Adelaide are doing this exactly as it should. We wait to see all offers and if it feels like it’s best to let him go then we don’t match but if they are shit $450k per year offers then we make him the same offer where he has said he’d much rather stay in Adelaide. This is perfect for Adelaide.

Look as I've stated many times, Geelong's offer is reported by the media not some bloke on bigfooty with a source. I don't see where anyone else has actually reported Geelong's offer. Not saying its correct but its very rich for someone with out any contradictory evidence to say its wrong.
Most of it, I think is just offended Adelaide supporters that can't believe their club don't want him and secondly, can't believe that he would possibly consider such a contract from someone else when you used to pay more.
The media is as reliable as bigfooty fwiw... they just make up what they want....

There’d be quite a handy list of ex crows scattered throughout the other teams atm, not quite Giants level but there is still plenty around, Greenwood a perfect example.
