Xavier duursma is worth more than BZT.. why would he be involved in the trade??Why are we even discussing Duursma? Port supporters said there was no chance we were getting a player.

How will BTZ free up allir when he can’t play on a key forward?? Allir will be forced to play on the gorillas still. Esava is the only way to free up AllirIt seems the key is to free up Allir

Traded - Brandon Zerk-Thatcher [Traded to Port Adelaide in Duursma & Picks Swap]
Duursma holds more value than BZT IMO. However could see something like BZT and 28 for Duursma and 44. Think Duursma on his own is worth a 20-25 pick so he’s slightly undervalued. BZT on his own is 35-40 so he’s slightly undervalued. Win/win? Happy to add a second rounderwww.bigfooty.com
Lol, no one would swap Soligo for Duursma!Farken lol as if Duursma doesn’t make the Crows side …. Please he’s literally performed at Jake Soligos level despite being the sub twice and doing his PCL
Because he's doing a medical with Essendon...Why are we even discussing Duursma? Port supporters said there was no chance we were getting a player.
His worst is also more frequent than BZT!BZT is a very very ordinary defender, Duursma's best is way better than BZT.
His worst is also more frequent than BZT!
Duursma plays far more poor than good games, which is his biggest issue & why he has spent significant time in the sanfl.
So are you happy with his consistency...By significant SANFL time do you mean the 12 games he’s played over 5 years?
Where 8 of those were last year after seperate collarbone and PCL injury meant he spent some time there?
It’s really not and my point wasn’t that anyone would trade Soligo for DuursmaLol, no one would swap Soligo for Duursma!
Even after all this time Duursma lacks consistency & goes missing when the going gets tough.
Duursma for BZT is a fair swap.
Soligo was only drafted in 2021 & imo should play 200+ games as a very solid inside/outside midfielder. It’s really not and my point wasn’t that anyone would trade Soligo for Duursma
It was one is massively over hyped on a contract until 2045 the other apparently is worth about the same as a 2nd tall KPD who wouldn’t make Essendons first 23 in 2024
And yet they’re both producing the same strange isn’t it
Agreed. BZT has shown steady improvement and his 2023 was his best year to date. Duursma has had one good year in 2019 and has been disappointing ever since.Soligo was only drafted in 2021 & imo should play 200+ games imo as a very solid inside/outside midfielder.
Duursma was drafted 3 years earlier in 2018 & after a very promising start, has gone backwards, lacking consistency... when he is at an age when he should be showing performance consistency.
The 2 are not really comparable imo as at different stages of their career.
Duursma's best is better than BZT, but he also has far more poorer games compared to BZT... which is why imo they are of similar trade value. Time will tell.
Cheers, my post was more about the Port fans telling us all exactly how the trade was going to happen. I'm sure you spend enough time with them...Because he's doing a medical with Essendon...
Indeed.Cheers, my post was more about the Port fans telling us all exactly how the trade was going to happen. I'm sure you spend enough time with them...
So was Hartlett.Because he's doing a medical with Essendon...
Geez, a shock he has come out of retirement...So was Hartlett.
You mean that its disappointing he's been pretty much injured most of that time.Agreed. BZT has shown steady improvement and his 2023 was his best year to date. Duursma has had one good year in 2019 and has been disappointing ever since.
Hartlett had a medical at Essendon - did he ever play there?Geez, a shock he has come out of retirement...
You are one of the worst Crows trolls on this forum and also the one who consistently tells me not to post on Crows players. So not only are you a pathetic troll but you're also a massive hypocrite. So are you happy with his consistency...
Be honest now.
One of us is a balanced poster who isn't completely one-eyed.You are one of the worst Crows trolls on this forum and also the one who consistently tells me not to post on Crows players. So not only are you a pathetic troll but you're also a massive hypocrite.
Exactly. 4 seasons of injuries, especially at a young age, is a huge red flag. You mean that its disappointing he's been pretty much injured most of that time.
Are you suggesting Duursma is only doing a medical for fun & has nothing to do with the fact Port are trying to trade in BZT.Hartlett had a medical at Essendon - did he ever play there?
Hartlett had a failed* medical at EssendonHartlett had a medical at Essendon - did he ever play there?
No Duursma is quite obviously going to be Hinkley's human sacrifice scapegoat for his continued incompetence. However what I'm alluding to is that Hartlett was in his shoes x years ago and ended up not leaving. Duursma is in contract so will have to agree to the trade. And the one thing we will both agree on is that Essendon stink. Are you suggesting Duursma is only doing a medical for fun & has nothing to do with the fact Port are trying to trade in BZT.
Stick your head in the sand yet again if it makes you feel better.
Well if Duursma fails his medical at Essendon too like Hartlett, I doubt that they will accept him for BZT.No Duursma is quite obviously going to be Hinkley's human sacrifice scapegoat for his continued incompetence.
