I’d like to take this opportunity to thank The Royal Sampler for his submissions in this case.

Nailed it from the get go.

P.s. I’ll take the thanks for suggesting we needed expert evidence from a biomechanic

Cheers mate.

Woods presented his case as to why he thought Bruz collided with Brayshaw, and Ihle said;

Reasoning behind the verdict.

Bang, Gleeson has hit the demon sooks harder with those reasons than Maynard’s accidental collision with Brayshaw.

Not intentional ✅
Maynard’s position on landing wasn’t a conscious decision ✅
Not a bump ✅
Brayshaw’s movement contributed ✅
Smothering was reasonable ✅
Maynard touched the footy ✅

Do any of their whinges remain standing??

My favorite part of the verdict.

'It is not an irrelevant consideration that these other possible methods of landing foreseeably have resulted in harm to Maynard'.

As in catch the opponent but by chance Brayshaw doesn't - Maynard ends up with broken ribs and a punctured lung and looks like an idiot in sustaining said injuries.

The bolded not true at all mate.
I’ve seen it before when a player is treated like this. And not just for our team.
Generally a down game next up and in Maynard’s case his physicality is part of his game and the case, the media and the outcome for Brayshaw will affect his physicality.
The game after however, wrecking ball time!
