Couldn’t break into the team and now injured for at least a month

A fair chance to not end up getting any games in the ones this year at this rate
Wouldnt mind him at Richmond to be honest , If Brandon Ellis ends up leaving and we get a reasonable compo could be about his range

Think he is the type thats loyal to collingwood though

Personally would be quite shattered if we did lose the ‘bear’ at years end....(highly doubtful) he’ll be best 22 come finals if he is fit & firing.

His Injuries could scare some teams off

Ugh you’re one of those people. As soon as someone gets injured you rush to the players thread and go OMG HE WONT PLAY ANYMORE WILL BE TRADED FOR CHIPS

I think it’s more that it’s very hard for the kid to break into your powerful midfield. He maybe happy enough to spend a lot of time in the twos but if he wants regalar AFL football he may look at a move. He isn't the only good mid that will struggle to get into the side. Its a reflection of how good you are.

this, happens all the time the good teams lose depth cheaply because their depth is good enough to play senior footy elsewhere

Happily offer our 2nd rounder for Merrett too! Works hard. Good hands and vision, very Sier like.
Imagine implying a guy with a dozen games 3 and a half years into his career is worth more than a second round pick.

could see the blues interested in him. Would automatically make him the second best mid at that club. Late first/Early second rounder could do it.

He is the exact type of player we need.

But 2nd best mid at Carlton, is ridiculous call. Even with our crappy/young midfield.

I don't envy Buckley having to leave him out, because there's no easy way to fit them all in, but it's hard to imagine Sier getting into the side and wanting to stick around unless Pendles takes a premature bullet at the end of the season. Whoever gets him will be very fortunate. Hawthorn really should be in his ear already.

Who would he be behind? Cripps?
Fisher, Walsh. I mean the guy's played a dozen games. A dozen very good games, but a dozen games.
