Feel Brisbane were better on paper but I do not think a definitive argument could be put forth for either side over which 3-peat was better.

When it comes to which team had the highest peak during their 3 peat it would have to be the 16 in a row to end the season including the second half destruction of a very good Essendon team in the 2001 Grand Final. I do not think Hawthorn during 2013-15 reached the level of that Lions team in the second half of 2001 at any stage. That does not mean the Lions had the better 3-peat though.
