How exactly would Brisbane have fared tonight if Daniher, Cameron & Hipwood failed to hit the scoreboard?

Interesting comment as they haven't been given a chance. I guess it was the forward line and not the midfield/defence that was the issue tonight.

All around bad performance but I'm not sure how much the forward line can do given the quality of entry. Would say they could've set up a bit better when they were taking the ball out. Was a bit too easy for mine as they were coming out.

Esava 5 disposals.... I love Benny on KROCK but I strongly disagree with him on Esava.... you can't continue playing Esava. For crying out loud his had 5 disposals and 8 hit outs... we Can't keep playing him...

We have lost 3 games with Stanley in the team. He may tighten up our hit-out stats but apart from that, he is what he is . . . a journeyman who has underachieved given his brilliant athletic qualities.

I'd be all for another journeyman like Darcy Fort to get a go though. He would probably be a little more consistent than Stanley as he has the height (205cm) to match AFL rucks.

The fact that Stanley's not good doesn't mean he's not better than the alternatives. He's the best of a bad set of options.

I think there is some feeling in the camp that he is some NicNat, when he isn't. He is very flashy SavRat when he does something, but does go missing, and quite a bit. I'd rather have Stanley in the ruck tbh.

Brisbane we’re on tonight, credit where it’s due, they turned up. We just have had one of those nights and weren’t able to match the Lions intensity, hope the coaches have a good look at this one, I do feel Brisbane exploited some major weaknesses in our team/game plan.

Just as long as we take care of the bombers next week.

I don't disagree with that but it feels like his papers are stamped. I'm disappointed he's been on our list for all this time. Should have been gone years ago and we should have invested in young rucks much earlier.

Daniher kicked 4 goals, Cameron 3 goals & Hipwood the 2 - so 9 of Brisbane's 13 goals came from them

If those 3 only kicked 2 goals as we saw from our trio of Cameron, Hawkins & Rohan, how do you think that Brisbane would have gone?

He had a bad game against Hickey a week after destroying Naitanui. I can count on 1 hand the number of times I've seen Naitanui beaten that badly.

Chris Scott has said a number of times that Sav is in our best 22, he's just not sure where.

Best 22 but not sure where, that's a concerning statement.

Long term Sav may be good but right now have to go with Stanley. Like you say his have against West Coast was amazing.

I also prefer Stanley as an extra mid when the ball is in the ground, a Sav is not much chip in that regard.
