Brothers playing on each other

If Sydney beat the Hawks next week they'll play a prelim against the Pies. Now if Ben Reid is fit we could legitimately see the two Reid boys playing on each other. The Swans Sam Reid at CHF, and the Pies Ben at CHB. Can anyone remember this happening before? Brothers have been on opposing teams, yes. But I can't recall a time when they've directly lined up on each other.

heard a story from the middle part of this decade, brett voss was having a shot at goal against the brions and M. Voss walked past him saying 'my dad effed your mum'.

Brett voss sprayed the shot because he was laughing.

Can't remember the specific incident myself but heard from a reliable source.

The unique thing about the Reid brothers is that they are each others direct opponents. Ben is a CHB and Sam is a CHF so they are going to be each others direct match up for most of the game.

This isn't the case with most other brothers as while Jarrad and Mark may match up on each other for a few minutes every so often it isn't like they are matched up on each other for most of a match.

Sam Reid vs Ben Reid is going to be a rivalry we see often in the next 10 years.

Its going to be a very interesting matchup in a few years when Sam grows into his body some more. As for his goal kicking i think if Travis Cloke can fix his set shots there is hope for everyone.

I am certain that Scott has played on Joel. I also believe Adam has played on Joel and I vaguely remember that Adam and Troy playing on each other.
