Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

last night predictions were a fair way off as i said earlier need about 6 weeks to get more accurate provided there's no late changes heres what we have today

ade v carl
88 - 79

kang v syd
72 - 83

bris v bull
93 - 84

coll v haw
92 - 80

by ratios we had the eagles on top this is diff to score prediction today in ratios we have
bulldogs on top, ade slightly in front, coll in front and syd also lets see how we go

sti;; margins r strugling this week some lines have been closer than those posted

but we will caryy on and hopefully find something today

melb v rich
95 - 69

gee v port
110 v 63

stk v fre
89 - 59

some value on the tab
code no 3281 gee 106-120/port76-90 $11
3248 rich 61-75/melb 91-105 $12
3310 stk 76-90/fre 61-75 $12

multi those if allowed odds of $1,584 would be handy $7 WOULD GET U 10K

Not bad going this week - 6/8 which is around par, but not below it which is the main thing :thumbsu:

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

Harry Taylor - 3 votes? This is the brownlow count remember, he probably deserves it but I doubt he will get them. And I was surprised you didn't have Sylvia in your Melbourne votes. The site looks good though top work :thumbsu:

Spot on with the GEE v P AD votes. I agree:

3 Taylor H
2 Ablett G
1 Johnson S

Of course, one problem for Taylor is that he is a defender and so probably will not get paid his dues....

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

i though corey stood out for me more than ablett in the last qtr, and ablett also dropped 3 sitters in the last 10minutes, i dont know if that would change anything

True, a few clangers late on, but 37 disposals and 3 goals should see Ablett among the votes.

I went :

3 Taylor
2 Ablett
1 Corey

Gee Gazzer had 2 passages of play where he got 3 easy handballs in the space of 30 seconds. He certainly should poll but it was not a true blue G Ablett 3 vote game like '09.

Yeah you raise a good point actually. I do think Taylor stood out enough, plus Ablett had a real quiet first half by his standards, but exploded in the second.

I just think Taylor may of done enough to get the votes though.

My leaderboard after round 4:

7 - Brennan, Ablett

6 - Sandilands, Reiwoldt, Goddard

5 - J. Brown, Barlow

4 - Harvey, Green, H. Shaw, Naitanui, McGlynn, Gilbert, Bartel, Rischitelli

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

Suprised to see everyone having Goddard pretty low.

I would have thought his 4 goals against Roos and 5 goals against Freo, would have him on 4-5 votes???

I was looking at getting on him at 29-1. Thought it was very good value, given he polled pretty well last year, Riewoldt won't steal any more votes off him, and he plays in a team that will have a lot of wins:confused:

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

Hey Aussie Gun, i watched the doggies and lions game on Saturday night and im certain that power will get at least a vote, more likely 2. He was everywhere during the game and set up quite a few goals. just my opinion.

Also, i'm gonna have to go with notorious on this one, i think taylor will get one vote, or two votes if lucky (i have him for 1). He was probably best afield for geelong but i think the umpires will be giving ablett or corey the 3 votes in this one,

3. Corey
2. Ablett
1. Taylor

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

Relax mate. We wanna take the bookies money

Taylor had 15 cp's and 5 cm's that's up there at best of the year

I know he is a backman...

That we do. :thumbsu:

But do you think the umpires really knew Taylor had 15 contested possessions and 5 contested marks. They don't hit up ProStats in the time between the siren and making their votes. Sure the would have noticed a few good marks and some good congested play but if he gets 3 votes I'll be shocked. For the record I agree Taylor was BOG.

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

Given Ablett's once again stellar start to the season, is anyone considering getting into him now at 5/1?
