Full on goosebumps watching that, so pumped for Tues now!

I assume that's a Perth only Bon tribute, with Tom visiting his memorial the other day?

Might get a Cold Chisel tune in Adelaide.

That Highway to Hell clip is just sensational....from the opening riff, the crowd would have been completely pumped and then dead set drained after the first 5 songs of that set last night.

I have gone from a casual fan of Bruce Springsteen, to now an official member of the Church Of Springsteen.

Last night I found out why they call him The Boss!

A simply flawless performance and second only to Radiohead as the best act I've ever seen.

As an unabashed Springsteen fan, it's funny when somebody else says than a Bruce gig is either "second only to...." or "up there with one of the best gigs I've seen".

It's just really hard to believe that any band or any person could come even close to Bruce live.....but that's just my absolute bias coming through (and Radiohead would have been awesome live).

Last night's shows sounds like it was an absolute belter.

What's the accepted protocol for singing along when it comes to a song like this?

It seems the crowd is quite hushed during the verses, but break in to song during the chorus.

I'd just like to belt out the whole thing along with Bruce, but it seems that I'd be risking a smack in the head from those around me, or a couple of "shut the f**k ups" at the every least.

Nice, but I think that I'd prefer a version with the full band.

I was just singing quietly to myself apart from the choruses. Time and a place for belting out songs loudly. That wasn't it.

Yeah I know....that's why I'd prefer the full band version. Reckon the voice would be have been shot to bits after the first hour of that show anyway.

How was the atmosphere in the venue last night after the AC/DC - Darkness opening?

You sing quietly to yourself ala Racing.

First night at the back of GA where the gate is, there was a group of people from Bendigo. One dude was singing really loudly during the solo "Thunder Road," except he was singing the words before Bruce was, as if to show everyone he knew the words. He was promptly told to STFU and the big doofus did. But he'd already ruined the first part of the song.

Wouldn't even be able to mouth the words quietly to Racing.....I'd just sit there silently with a couple of tears rolling down the cheek.
Well yeah, you get the point lol.

Incident was one of those songs where everyone just sang quietly to themselves, I think because everyone was in awe though, but it's just not a song you belt out.

I'm still singing Highway To Hell. Cannot wait for the download to come out.

Confirmed: Roll call has started in Adelaide. Next one scheduled for 9pm. Some people in Perth are shitty at them for starting it already, but these are the same people who started roll calling last Sunday. HTFU.

Spot on......I just sat there stupidly with a big dopey grin in my face for the entire 9 or so minutes of Incident at HR2.

Just to be clear, I would never, ever sing along loudly to any quiet acoustic number at a Bruce gig......I do enough of that at home. People go there to hear Bruce, not me.

Yeah, it's okay on full band songs etc, but no way on a ballad.

July 28, Ireland.

That's a while..but I'm not sure if that is a good or bad thing.

From an entirely selfish point of view, I'd love to see it in Adelaide. However, the moment would be lessened somewhat as I'd be thinking of you by the end of the first bar of the opening piano refrain.

I'd be happy enough to wait until AAMI Park.
