So do I. Every chance either one would immediately become our best forwardI like how Carlton are still trying to get McGovern or Charlie Cameron![]()

Shame you won't get either, or Lever. So do I. Every chance either one would immediately become our best forward
Nor should theyShame you won't get either, or Lever.
My god where did we find you?Pick 13 and a potato is not reasonable
Pick 13 and McGovern, Cameron or Lever is reasonable
Funny thing is your own fans played down his value for 9 years until he comes up for trade, and now he's the 2nd coming of Chris Judd.
I don't think anyone is under or overrating Gibbs.
Is he a top 10 player of the competition? No
Is he a top 50 player of the competition? Possibly, and combine that with the fact he is under contract for 3 more years and we don't want to lose him (or dump his salary like Hawthorn), that's why the asking price is what it is.
It will be a first rounder and something both parties end up agreeing to.
Maybe 1st and 2nd rounders this year, and 2nd next year?
I agree with you....cos your work buddy says so.I'm not saying it's fair.
You need to pay overs. Get it through your head.
Silvagni is as good as anyone in the business. Good luck blinking last. We all know which club blinks first, last year proved that.
My god where did we find you?
Those 3 would be rated equal to Gibbs on their own and Talia would be rated more by our club .
Think you need to worry whats happening over there than making stupid posts about other clubs.
Due to our loyalty both Carlton and us will make lavish statements which we both accept on this topic but to a outsider suggest we are going to give up 13 plus future young stars for Gibbs is totally stupid. Talia of course is already a star that cannot be replaced.
Apart from being 28 at start of season Bryce has never reached anywhere the heights expected but he wants to come home and we would like to help but we are not going to wreck our future by doing so.
Keeping a contracted player is pretty fair too!!Carlton is clearly being unreasonable in this one. Pick 13+2017 2nd pick is more than fair. Gibbs contributes nothing to Carlton's potential future final surge and Carlton has one of the worst group of young players coming through despite being deep into the rebuild stage.
They have Cripps, Weitering, maybe curnow and, well, who else?
I guess if the players aren't keeping true to their contracts, why should we care about them at all...Keeping a contracted player is pretty fair too!!
Geez, even as a Carlton supporter I will admit as a list, ours is probably even behind Brisbane to be the worst in the comp.Im not following the carlton line of we need to sell the future because our window is now.. Whos list is better in terms of future any neutral want to weigh in?

From all reports the crows were also very unprofessional in the way they announced gibbs wanting to to to the crows via the media instead of trying to broker a deal first which would have not opened the possible trade warmly.

Carlton probably would have like to have known first before the crows announced it it everyone else.So did port do a deal with essendon and gold coast before the declaration of them choosing port? Carlton upset because they wanted to announce it?
3 way deal with Fyfe to Blues is the word.

And for the record it was Bryce that approached Adelaide to come home due to his partners lack of support with a new born.
Adelaide said ok. Carlton were well aware of his family issues before he announced he wanted to come home.
Lol, common decency would have been nice.Perhaps adelaide assumed that carlton had an idea of what was going on with one of their stars..

OR he and his partner want to come home for more support for their newborn so they don't have to worry about that stuff. Yeah, let's go with that.No one who earns 600K+ can complain about a lack of support. Family is one hour away, and support is $20 per hour. Work it out, like regular people do, every day.
