At the Pies press conference Malthouse was asked about how does Buckley compare to others in Malthouses 35 years in the game.
He spoke of Matthews and Carey from afar and ended it by saying, from seeing him up close, Buckley is the Greatest.

He is delusional.

Eddie said that Bob Rose said Bucks was the greatest Pie player didn't he?

Collingwood have had some of the Greatest Players who have played the Game, most were the Greatest players of there Era, Bucks wasn't even that. A great player yes, greatest No.

Nurse, can you please give Mr Malthouse his medicine please. He is just over here blabbing about FIGJAM being the greatest.

Interestingly Voss and Hird have also stated he is the best they played against. Bob Rose has says he is Collingwoods greatest footballer. Voss, Hird, Rose and Malthouse, gee the must all be delusional.

Ummmmm that's where you are wrong. Hird has stated it's Archer who has been the best player he played against.

He's the greatest player to retire from Collingwood this year.

Seriously, he's a great player. If he didn't play for Collingwood I would say it's a shame he never got a flag.

i'm not going go find something you "believe" is there.

I don't believe it as Hirdy doesn't feel that way.

No it is there, Hird, Voss, McLeod all listed Buckley as the best they have played against. Obviously you are right- Malthouse, Rose, Hird, Voss and Mcleod are wrong. How the hell do you know how Hird feels?

because i've heard him speak at his own Testomonial last year, at the Best and Fairest two days ago and on both occasions the two players he has mentioned in his speeches who he has felt to be the best he has played against in both "toughness" and "skillful" are Archer and Kouta.

Never has there been mention of Nathan Buckley.
