Guardiola ball. Can't wait till he's gone
It's got to be frustrating to watch as a fan because it's also (in my opinion) such a boring style to watch! One could argue that when Bayern looked really good midway through the year around the time they thumped Dortmund & Wolfsburg it was down to Lewandowski in career best form and not Pep's guidance on the team.

its amazing to see how Pep has ripped apart such a dominant team that Jupp built. From the treble with Jupp, to the double, to only a League title in two years with Pep. Whilst they should still win the league and probably the Pokal as well, its interesting to see how such an entertaining, attacking team that came within a bees dick of winning back to back Champions League titles (see penalty shoot out v Chelsea @ home) to a boring, possession oriented team that has left UCL with its tail between its legs and so much anger from many fans.

Grass is always greener they say...

Aubameyang missing from just about every point blank shot you could ask for, whilst Reus calmly slots two past the keeper. 15 minutes and ill be in bed and wont even watch the Rugby ;)

Had a chance to watch the game now and as good as Ginter has been on the right side this season, I think as soon as Piszczek is brought on it seems far more comfortable. Piszczek is faster, more solid defender, more skilful and is a far better crosser that Matze in my opinion. I do like Matze as a second option out there (until Durm returns) and at DM/DC. Hummels looks to be back to his best after a slight form dip, his ball delivery from the back in this game was brilliant and was so calm even when being pressed. Gundogan was great as usual (how will we replace him????) but Auba was a little off.
I really can't wait until Nuri Sahin returns though as I think he will improve the side even further, Weigl has been great this season but Sahin is just amazing (since his return, Dortmund average 2.09 pts with Sahin & 1.15 without).

**** me, I really enjoyed that. Nothing better than winning a local derby. The two goals scored by that other team were huge defensive errors by Hummels and Papa as well - so it wasnt as if they really even deserved to have 2 goals next to their name.

Would have been paying huge odds at the seasons beginning for Dortmund to be closer to Bayern than third place five rounds out from the winter break

Was a great game to watch! So tired this morning though hahaha Hummels was punished for 2 mistakes and I don't know what the hell Papa was doing on that 2nd goal. Schalke were trying to be really physical and aggressive from the outset and made themselves look like massive campaigners.

I cannot believe how well Weigl has been this season as I thought he might get tired and drop off but if anything he has gotten better! So slight but doesn't mind putting his body on the line or putting in a hard challenge. Gündogan has been amazing so far, I honestly don't know how we can replace his influence. Matze had a good game too with a goal and assist

You never know, maybe we wont have to. But either way, it will take a good wad of TV rights cash to get him now, so we will be duly compensated if he decides to go

Why is Tuchel turning a blind eye to Auba's batman thing?

What's the story behind that?

I would assume that no coach wants to see a player get a yellow for a celebration and putting them closer to a 5 card ban, but at the same time, allowing your players to have a bit fun should also be paramount for squad happiness etc. So I guess if he gets 2 yellows a season (home and away goals v the blue team) then thats not too bad

Wanting to watch some Bundesliga, do you guys use beIN Sports or another service? As far as I can tell, Foxtel don't show much if any Bundesliga. Cheers :)
