With 4 Weeks to go.
The following is certain (IMO):-
1: Mazenod are playing finals
2: NOBS will be in D Grade in 2014
3: Banyule or OC will will be with NOBS next year
4: The sacking of the Oakleigh coach actually worked
5: OI have the hardest run facing Monash, OE and Marcellin in the next 3 weeks.
6: Of the other teams battling for the remaining 3 spots in the 2013 finals, Marcellin have the easiest run, playing OC, Pen, OI and NOBs
7: Monash need to win 1-2 to be safe for finals
8: OI need to win 2 to be safe
9: OE have a tricky game against Oak in round 17. Lose that game and their season is luikely to be over as they play Mazenod in round 18.
10: Someone from Mazenod to win the B&F
11: Del Monte to win the goal kicking
12 2nd Semi between Mazenod and Monash
13: 1st Semi between OI and Marc

Must say that I reckon PEGS might struggle after blowing a good lead on Saturday on their own deck.
Mazenod seem to get better each week and are now firm favourites.

My prediction is the four will stay as is in its current order, and Banyule will join NOBs in D1 next year.

Ps if it were a philosophy student the centre square would be round
Perhaps if we close our eyes at the same time, the skewiff centre square/circle/rhombus might not exist at all!
I propose we test out this theorem for 2 hours each on Saturday, Monash can start with their eyes closed at 2, then OC can takeover at 4. We will then convene at the bar at 6.
That way OC might be a chance of winning.
