Player Watch Callum Brown (Delisted 2022)

Gavin Brown has never been known for his eloquence. His actions on the field did the talking for him! Not a great interviewee, and Callum is just a kid, so not exactly a riveting interview. But who cares? We owe AFL 360 a big fat zero.

Watching Gavin Brown with Robinson, two spectrums of people.

In this case, opposites do not attract

Considering the hack job Robbo did last year against the pies, I can see why the players (and ex players) would be very very careful not to give out anything to that man. You can see Robbo tried to put words in Gavins mouth regarding bucks being our best player and once again tried to get him to say that he was on the fence of wanting his son to go to professional football (read to Collingwood), bet he never asked Terry if he was happy with Joe playing:rolleyes:. Rowdy answered those questions perfectly and really gave an insight into how Robbo operates.

Terry probably would've said...'mate, why don't you go ask his dad, Anthony...'

Get excited lady's & gentleman...

I am choosing to translate this as Joshy telling you young Callum will be replacing Blair this week.

That means no Shaza :( but we got a Brown :)

I think we'd get Ramsay before Shaz. I'd be confident the club has Shaz on a long term plan and have a date in mind for his AFL return and won't deviate from that plan regardless of our current on field issues. They're just letting him work himself into great form in the VFL and go through the motions of pre and post game prep and recovery for awhile. It sucks, but it is what it is and hopefully when he FINALLY comes in he will be exactly what we're desperate for. Lets give the club the benefit of the doubt on this one.

Why? There's still another spot free to replace Aish.

I am doing a Dave I have cracked the sads after Bucks comments! :'(

Lol, I'm saving my melts for Thursday, just like last week. Starting to prepare my scripts now already :D

What did Bucks say?

Its in the Scharenberg thread Kirby.......apparently he is tracking well but until he gets 4057 Dream team points he plays VFL :drunk:

I think his words were something to the effect of 'he needs to keep doing what he's doing and he'll get his opportunity'.

Not exactly running a line through his name, but not words that inspire confidence in his being selected either.

I think this is correct.

Shaz has not played much footy for 2-3 years now. Regardless of talent you need time for him to adjust. Must be a great feeling for him just to be out there, getting a kick, playing with his mates after all the time in rehab.

Let him enjoy his time and work into the season before placing too much pressure on him.

If he's ready he is ready, cut the cord, go time

It's not me you've got to convince unfortunately :(. Last time we left him languishing in the VFL he did his second knee.
He did his second knee during preseason, not in the VFL.
