With the boys heading to Adelaide this Saturday to take on the Crows and with the match being shown on Fox Footy Channel, Kangaroos supporters in Melbourne can catch the game live on the Superscreen at the Captains Bar at The Dome. The Captains Bar will be open from 1:30pm with the Adelaide v Kangaroos match starting at 2:30pm.

Happy hour will run until the first bounce, $1.50 pots, $3.50 wines & $4.50 basic spirits. There will also be hot pies available for purchase.

To access the Captains Bar is via the Live Wire precinct (Bourke Street Entry Gate 2) or Bourke Street Car Park, LiveWire lift to Level 2.

Kangaroos members & supporters will be issued with a wrist band upon entry of LiveWire life to ensure they gain access to their social club during event mode period. Members and supporters must exit via the LiveWire lift from level 2 upon conclusion of the screening.

Anyone wishing to watch the Essendon v Brisbane match must purchase a valid event day ticket and enter via the turnstiles at Gate 2.

Is the social club still the bar with the pokies around it? I was down there for lunch at the bistro part the other day, it seemed to be doing a reasonable trade. With the NAB building nearby and the apartments approaching completion (and the builders working on them) and no real other 'normal' pubs around besides the Watermark or whatver it is, I'm starting to think we should stick it out there. It might still all work out afterall.
