Carlton have the 6th oldest list. They are struggling to make the 8 and can't beat a cooked Collingwood.
Still totally reliant on an ageing, battered Cripps and the coach clearly has no tactical nous.
When, (not if), Carlton find themselves in the same old boat next year..i.e... ( struggling to make the 8 and choking in big games)..Maybe then it might dawn on Carlton folk that their next rebuild is going to be smack bang in the middle of the Tassie compromised drafts.
Ouch.

In hindsight you might be correct, but go back and review what was being said about Collingwood leading into the 2022 season.

Powerhouse clubs find a way to rejuvenate quickly.

Curnow, Mckay and Weitering still have 5 years, Walsh Cerra and both Hollands plenty. Tassie won't be a bother for us after having to go through Gold Coast and Gws coming in and we have a few very good F/S's coming up.

'Big Game Charlie', 'Can't hit the side of a barn Walsh', and 'Hamstrung Cerra' - surely you're not relying on those blokes to take you to the promised land?

I heard on SEN this morning he's taken more marks this year than any other ruckman in the comp.

Yet another year his output has exceeded that of TDK, at half the price.
