Sam Walsh goal drought extends to 9 games now. 5 goals (2 against Richmond) for the year. Getting close to being the most overrated midfielder in the history of football.

You guys are being too harsh. I thought he epitomised Carlton’s football in the first half, really set the standard.

As posted on the Collingwood board -

Since round 13, a long 3 months ago, Carlton have won a paltry 3 games - Against the bottom 3 sides!

Two of those were double ups somehow gifted to them by the AFL despite their Top 4 ladder position last year (just how Carlton got to be gifted their incredibly easy draw this year is a topic in itself).

For the entire season they won a miserable 4 games against the top nine sides and lost a massive 9 - whereas the Pies, with the toughest draw of all, had a positive win/loss record.

Clearly the Blues undeservedly stumbled into the the finals based purely and solely on the softest draw of all and were way out of their depth once they got their - they were out of it well before the quarter time siren. They're still just a no good bottom 8 level team, as proven by their dreadful record against the genuine top half of the ladder sides.

No wonder that Collingwood comfortably accounted for them twice yet again this season - despite a poor season overall, the Pies were still easily better than the blues in 2024, and I don't expect this to change next year

Wow they have turned on Vossy on the Carlton board.
It was only ever a matter of time.

Carlton really have been incredibly unlucky with their coaches over the last two plus decades.

Because it obviously can't be the fault of the Board that appoints the coaches.

Nor can it be the fault of the list management team who have NFI about how to build a list to genuinely contend for a premiership.

Nor can it be the fault of the match committee, who consistently make rookie errors in the way they did last night.

And finally, it can't be the ingrained culture of the club, where they have spent the last 50 years lying, cheating and looking for the next shortcut for a quick fix.

No, no, no... it's always the coach.

I think they had a committee to appoint the coach not the board, no more makey uppy mate.

Very even comp. You need your best players out there and firing.

Injuries played a big part in their end of season fizzer I reckon.

...and Vossy. Was an accident waiting to happen.

The fact after another wasted and embarrassing year there is still Carlton fans in this thread shows how delusional their supporter base is.
This is our thread and we won it, your post shows just how delusional some Pie supporters are.
