To Richmond supporters atleast.
Lmao.
Remember when Richmond last the final this year? Remember how there was no posts on the main board because no you cares about Richmond. Oh wait. Everyone on this board can't wait to get stuck in to them.
The media pumps them up if they play reasonable then ravage them when they lose.

By that argument lolnorf is a far more relevant team. Some of their games have melted the board completely.

The only reason I have a problem with this fixture is why the f*** do the wooden spooners from the previous season get to open the next year? I wouldn't care if Carlton had finished say 15th and then played the opener, but they finished dead last and their reward is to play in the opening gamr. The premiers should open the season (or West Coast in this case if Hawthorn would rather have easter Monday).

Finishing 9th reflects Richmond. Port did a Richmond this year.
Find it interesting how thats still a thing. Since most of our 9th place finishes were all the way back in the 90s.
Last 15 years 9th place finishes.
Tigers: 2
Hawks: 2
North: 2
Saints: 2

North have finished 9th as many times in the last 5 years as Richmond has in the last 15.

Also if you're looking at teams just missing out on finals with 9th and 10th spot.
Then Richmond stays at 2 times and North goes to 5 times.
