Apparently the format of the game is up to the clubs. Hopefully it is at the very minimum 80 minutes (without taking into account time-on)
I'm going with 6 x 'quarters' (shorter than normal)
Extended benches (maybe 8 on the bench)
Unlimited rotations

And an NBA All-Star style target score for the final quarter, with no clock...

...not really

You're attending a game, regardless of how serious a hit out it is.
Using the facilities. I'm sure there will be food and drink stands staffed, cleaners, etc.

The assumption would be that the majority of Carlton supporters attending would be members and the Saints supporters would be the ones paying to get in (unless both team's members get free entry?).

Just another greedy, in the moment decision by those that probably wouldn’t be around to see through some decent big picture planning and strategy.
Just make sure you’re memberships are paid up thanks, preferably before Christmas via auto renewal …
Going to the Swans v Giants game Friday arvo/evening at Lavington. $15 general admission for all. 4000 so far have bought tickets. I'm not sure that tomorrows game is a classic example of greed.

They'll aim for 6 quarters to give everyone a run, but because it'll be humid they'll call it time after 5 15min quarters or something.

nope, x4 30min flat (no time off the clock for stoppages) quarters

So if we take the 10 names on the injury list from earlier this week as all unavailable tomorrow, it means that we have 7 players not named for the AFL game. 5 of these players have been named for the VFL (Motlop, Parks, Cottrell, Young, Ed Curnow). That leaves only Plowman and Martin who were not named on the injury report and are not playing any footy this week.

Also very strange to see Ed Curnow in the VFL instead of the AFL too! My thinking here is maybe he is returning from injury and they only want to give him a quarter or two and thus not lose a valuable opportunity to see someone in the AFL team play. Otherwise i can't see why he wouldn't be in the AFL team?!

Interesting to see Ed named in the VFL side in the practice match tomorrow.
I wonder if that's an indication of what lies ahead this season, or if it's simply a reflection of the fact that we know what he can do and there's nothing for him to prove so we're better off seeing someone else against AFL standard players to learn more about them. That plus the fact that he'd be a very good presence for the developing players in the VFL side.

I think the latter. Even if he isn't best 22 (I think he is) he is definitely best 26. He could also be on managed minutes

Line up something like:
Williams MacDonald Newman
McGovern Weitering Saad
Philp Cripps O'Brien
Silvagni Kemp Fisher
Durdin Curnow Owies
Pittonet Hewett Cerra
Boyd Williamson Kennedy Setterfield Newnes
Partial game: Mirkov Dow Fogarty

Updated Fogarty to partial game list.
