I think you're a bit harsh on Rance, barnzy. He kept robbo to nothing and didn't butcher it like most. You're right about Tuck and Coughlan though. Although Cogs got alot of it his disposal in the 2nd half was not up to VFL standard.
Bowden, Shultz, Hughes and Raines are all finished. Some of Sarge's efforts today were insipid and there is no way he is worthy of another year. Same goes for Raines. I had high hopes for him at the beginning of 09 but his disposal and decision making continues to let him down.
Polly and Rance the only positives today.

Hopefully Schulz and Raines will get dropped, giving Gourdis and Gilligan a shot in the Coburg seniors next week.

if he breaks into the team this year and brings the form into next seaon he will be very handy up forward or the loose man down back.
I was hoping we would get something for him to GC. Looks like he will be making his way back to GC...back to Palm Beach that is.

Why are you not happy? Are you of relation? FWIW, he probably will be retained on the rookie list.
Judging by the scores, and considering the injury problems it looks like the boys did a pretty fair job.

Works both ways, would be getting far more credit from blokes like yourself if it wasn't for his name. He was great in the 2nd half, if Thomson had the game Tuck did today people would be begging for him to get a game in the seniors.
Think Schulz was a touch unlucky. IIRC he took two nice marks well within distance of a score only for a teammate to give a free away. Still had a poor game though.
Rawlings apparently gives an interview on the Sunday footy show today where he pretty much says Polak wont be at Richmond next year. At least that what Hutchy said on The Footy show and he did the interview.

That lot are a lot better than the lot 5 years ago, eg Weller, Fletcher, Houlihan, Hilton etc. It's just our positioning now. If we were in a different position in terms of team development, Brown, McMahon, Hughes, Bowden and Connors at least would be handy additions and would surely be retained. We may even be allowed the luxury of keeping on Cogs and Polly. But unfortunately that's not the case.
Above is my assessment on the players.
King, Raines and McMahon- Only 2 of the 3 will be kept, if that.
Brown showed a bit yesterday, im still not happy with the fact he has been treated better then Bowden.
that would be if rawlings coaches us next year.
