Losing to Geelong by two goals missing our entire first choice spine is still a bit different to 71-0
May as well win the flag and speed things up then
Also ignoring we were missing SDK who basically cancels out Treacy and Rohan who is probably our most accurate kick for goal.
Every team has injuries, some are just more impactful.
Our first choice Key defender, key forward, and ruck were out. Take out any teams best KPD, KPF, and ruck out and see how they go, let alone against a top 4 side.
Yes, some are more impactful. We just happened to be missing our three most impactful players.
Also ignoring the fact they were at home.
It was an 8 point game which they had to win.
Let's be honest, it was the loss against Essendon which has really derailed their season.
SDK and Tom Hawkins didn't play, neither did Rohan.
We seemed ok? I get your point but everyone can play that game if they want to.
That's not your entire spine though.
Both JT and Darcy played the game before at Essendon which you lost.
If you're blaming 3 injuries for losing at home, you're grasping at straws TBH.
As someone not privy to a lot of details with this.

Idk if Bolton gets done. Not something that we would’ve factored in given he signed long term last year. Baker and Warner we’ve been chasing for a while.
In the context of a comment on Sydney v Freo performances. Still somewhat related to the Chad.

The only sense in which he's been a liability is his ability to get on the park in the first place. Has generally been dominant in the ruck this season, and he's probably not played a single game at 100% this season. Without Darcy (or when we get the Darcy vs Essendon which everyone and their mother knew shouldn't have played), the clearance dominance, Freo's most consistent aspect of their game, is in jeopardy.
Jackson probably can be a good first choice ruck if given a pre-season's knowledge that that's gonna he his primary position. But judging by his last 2 games there, he ain't the answer right now. And in future games sans-Darcy this season, we should probably just play Reidy first choice ruck.
Yeah I dunno, he single-handedly lost you the game against Essendon from what I saw.
Reidy should definitely be in, he looks ready.
