You may have to sometime admit you were wrong about LT. I will if he can pull his finger out and deliver for the first time in about 16 games. Is a bit of a joke that an AFL footballer is excused for shitness because another little guy isnt in the team.

There is one image in my head as to why the kangas will win tomorrow... it happened at simmo's 300th dinner... I didn't notice this at the function at the time, but from looking at another source... Even if they don't beat the bulldogs, there is a really good relationship between crocks and our senior group...

I wouldn't go as far as to say Power and LT are in any way the reasons for where we are, but both would probably not get a game in any other side on current form, except of course Melbourne, and provide some good clues as to where our problems originate from.

Looking deeper - one can see the whole philosophy of the football club under Laidley, when a small forward is 20% chance of kicking a goal from a set shot on an angle from 20m out, is down on confidence yet continues to get games. And a tagger who runs into 50 directly in front and can only come up with a 25m pass to the pocket that happens to fall short anyway.

This philosophy may not be responsible for any given loss, but certainly provides some clues as to why we are where we are.
