B: Sheppard, Barrass, Hurn
HB: Cole, McGovern, Duggan
C: Gaff, Yeo, Redden
HF: Cripps, Darling, Shuey
F: Ryan, Kennedy, Allen
R: Naitanui, Sheed, Kelly
I (from): Rotham, Nelson, Foley, Ledwards, Jones, Langdon, Waterman, Williams

Think I got the 18 right, and 6/8 on the bench. I had Williams instead of Vardy and Foley instead of Petch.

Hard to pick who they go with from the bench. No spare defenders on the field, so suspect Rotham gets the gig. Will probably go with two of the small forwards (as only Cripps a definite a the moment), leaving one of Nelson, Waterman, or Edwards for the final spot (I assume Vardy won't play as it's going to be wet and Martin didn't get up)

So we need 4 (and a sub) from:

Waterman, Langdon, LEdwards, Vardy, Petruccelle, Nelson, Jones, Rotham

Suspect it will be:
Rotham, Nelson, LEdwards, Langdon

Nelson to play as a tagger.

Jones sub.

I would rather swap Jones for Langdon but it seems the MC values Langdon's running capacity over Jones' pressure. Petch probably needs a WAFL game as we are bringing back a lot of players.

7 mids named on the field but only one small forward (Cripps). LEdwards playing will depend on if they genuinely plan to play some of the mids as forwards or not.
Simpson hinted during the week that Yeo, shuey and/or Kelly would spend time in the forward line.

We also have Sheed who is pretty good at half forward.

I do worry a bit for Redden though. He was on the outer when we had our full midfield last time. Hes not great at half forward.

If it wasn't going to be pissing down with rain, I reckon I'd be happy enough with any combo of the bench players.

As the weather's looking a bit shit, there's no way we'll play Vards. And surely Petch won't get straight back in, given how many other players we're getting back.

Jones, Nelson, Ledwards and Langdon would be my ideal interchange.

Unless Witherden pulled up sore he is extremely unlucky given how he was playing pre injury and the excellent performance in the WAFL.

Foley also very stiff. Could have kept his spot over a couple of more regular selectees.

HEdwards also unlucky but not a surprise given Gov is back.

Of the 8 man extended bench I'd actually be a bit annoyed if LEdwards didn't make the cut.
Surely 'naked pictures of Simmo with a dog' boy won't make it, and Petruccelle probably would be one too many under-done ins.
I'd like to see Rotham (or Nelson as the alternative), Jones and Langdon join LEdwards on the bench with Jake as sub.
